Lekki is safer than the mainland without street gate.

Lagos is truly working!

Kudos to Sanwo-Olu for the giant strides in his second tenure... A lot of state governors literally down tools after getting reelected.

It's a well known fact that a lot these street gates are created for extortion by street thugs and miscreants.

I hope the Oyo State govt will do similar thing in Oyo State especially in Oluyole Estate. There is one in Lane Four that the exit gate is permanently locked.

Exactly, that is one thing that I love about Igbos.

As wonderful as this your comment of this guy below me would have being, your desire for Yoruba Land(Igbos are already determined not to be enslaved) to still be Nutritionally Enslaved to the North even with your Tinubu as President shows that your IQ is way below average. Cow, Beans, Legumes, etc. Yoruba And is far more fertile for both Animal Production and Crop Production than any other part of Nigeria and Awolowo proved it.

All that Yoruba Youths needs to massively be demanding from President Tinubu at this Point is that he should massively pump Billions into starting Mechanized Agricultural Farms and Farm Settlements that should be leased to them so that those that seriously work and Profit are later allowed to forever own the landed Properties. This would make the Yourba Youths know that you don't need YahooYahoo to become a Millionaire. The President should also do what Awolowo did by Providing means of Processing, Transportating and Exporting the Farm Produce into International Market. This was how the Great Awolowo Encouraged Yoruba Land to become the Richest Part of Nigeria and generated the Money with which Cocoa House and all the Industrial and 1st Ever in Africa Infrastructural Developments were achieved by the Yorubas.
The Enemies of Yoruba Land soon quickly Forcefully merged Yoruba Land with other Parts of Nigeria, and ever since then massively used Federal Propaganda Media Tools to Brainwashed the Next Generation to think that Farming is Useless to them. cry
trying so hard to understand ur point especially as it relates to d Igbos

Our obsession with gates in this part of the world is legendary.

The moment four or five people build houses ghen ghen, the next thing is street gate not mindful of the right to movement of others.

Good one from LASG.

Good, they have no rights what so ever to gate the these streets, the streets are not their private properties.

This needs to be carried out at both Omole Phase 1 and Phase II where non ticket holders are not allowed to pass.

If only some of you could devote a tenth of your anger towards the hausas that have been making Suya of your father's and mothers at Sabon gari, Kano down to Kaduna and everywhere else in the north since time immemorial, it would have been nice. But no, your poor knowledge of contemporary history coupled with your inherited bigotry towards Yorubas that have welcomed you even when your closest neighbors in PH rejected you would not allow that.

Keep wailing. You inherited it from your ancestors. Soon, your offsprings will take over from you.

They do this a lot in portharcourt and it's annoying. You can't erect gates and lock up public roads because you live there.

Besides, this almighty lekki is a dirty ass looking place... Terribly overrated

This here

Lagos expects people to keep construction sites safe yet they are parading workers with a complete disregard for safety and a lack of PPE.

It was the same in 2021 and people complained about it then, but they still haven't improved.
