The tide has changed and the northerners should stop crying over spilt milk, when Buhati was there he closed the borders and things were high in the southwest! People suffered badly. Now the pendulum has changed. It is suppose to have since ,money from Lagos and portharcourt cannot be sponsoring the North continually or what is the north giving the nation Other than pain, pain and suffering Since the past 12 years what has the north done? They used insecurity as a political gamut to oust GEJ They also teamed up against GEJ. The power players and northern bigots are still the ones that are the foundation of banditry from the onset. What do you expect to happen. Man will sow what he reaps!!! 2 Likes 1 Share |

The Northern Nigeria Elders are always acting funny and pretend in times immemorial to be working for the Northern Masses and this is not true! Have they even check the departments of the CBN the govt is moving down to Lagos? •The few of this Northern Elders are always afraid to let things work but could not used the same Speed and Energy -to checkmates most of the Northern Governors - who has cornered: -1- ALL the NBILLIONS Palliatives, -------2--Quarterly Federation Money and ----3----Homongous NBILLIONS in the Budgets of each States- of the North - to address the rising Poverty and Insecurity, mostly where the Minerals Deposits are known,as well as the Criminalities across Nigerian Borders. The earlier they start doing that, the better for the North and even the Youths, they claimed to represent! |

Aile: Quite correct. The mere fact that Abuja is the capital does not mean that every single HQ has to be there whether it makes sense or not. That's how they even carried the HQs of NPA and NIMASA there at a point. I have no doubt that if there is a Department of Oceanography in this country the HQ will be in Abuja. How nonsensical is that. The Banks are all powered from Lagos and thus there is nothing wrong with the whole of the CBN HQ being domiciled in Lagos. We do things for strange political reasons in this country. Thats how we went and built a refinery in Kaduna. Who does that when you will first have to transport crude there by land with all the attendant costs. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Northern Elders Reject Relocation Of CBN ‘Key Departments’ To Lagos by onuman: 2:48pm On Jan 19 |
Rejouir: What? Since 1999, northern political players have been utilising lopsided and fraudulent political structure of Nigeria to dictate the tone of every event in Nigeria. This Bola Ahmed Tinubu as gov is one of the few southern politicians who understood that Nigeria's new political structure of 20 new federating units in one region - north - but only 17 new federating units in the two southern regions under unitary government system, is a huge fraud. Tinubu crisscrossed the SW region asking for political restructuring of Nigeria. Northern military dictators created the 36 states and Abuja political structure which proliferated too many undue political representation for the northern region. Land mass or population figures is NEVER used as yardstick to determine where new federating units can be created in a country formed by different regions. Today, the political class in the North asks politicians from the south to come to the National Assembly for political restructuring, knowing full well that the National Assembly is unduly overpopulated by northern legislators who will vote down what the southerners ask for political restructuring. |
