The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment & Water Affairs should calm down and take things easy. This is peoples solely source of income and I believe there should be time frame to this. 116 Likes 5 Shares |

It won't still work, the only solution to the all Lagos wahala is to decongest Lagos by dredging of River Niger is the major solution. How do people live, work and survive in Lagos is still a mystery to me. 72 Likes 2 Shares |

madridguy: Hard drugs is also some people major source of income does that mean it mustn't be ban ? As long as the harm it is causing to the general population and environment is more than the good, then it deserve to be ban without any warning or time frame or what's the timeframe for ? so the dealers can have more time to dispose it and cause more pollution ? Many people survive on dealing with so many illegal things like drugs, fake goods etc does that mean the government should let them continue causing damage and continue to tolerate it because it is some people source of income and they may not survive otherwise ? even Okada that has been banned in Lagos recently is a major source of income for a lot of people too. 54 Likes 3 Shares |

Hmmmm. This is not Good news for those big butts women that use take-away plates to steal party rice in owambe parties. But Lagos state govt are not even serious. Instead of seeing opportunity in the threat situation, and create mediums thru which they can create wealth and job opportunities by recycling these take-away plastics wastes, they want to kill the industries that manufacture the products. Our leaders are bereft of innovative ideas that will spur development. Mumu govt with mumu decision. 24 Likes 1 Share |

They should also clamp down on people who are fond of disposing waste in the drainage system. That is the main cause of flooding in most parts of Lagos 5 Likes 1 Share |

How are the food vendors going to sell their food to their customers? Are there any other alternatives? May it not look like someone who set his house on fire because of rats. 6 Likes 1 Share |
