The JAMB Registrar has stated that having the highest score in JAMB is not sufficient to merit admission so it's unnecessary to reward candidates that may eventually not merit admission after you combine their O level result and performance at Post- UTME exam. I kind of agree with him and as you must have noticed, he didn't raise the age limit controversy because he has openly admitted that it is the universities that should each set their own age limit as JAMB has no such power to set age limit for varsity admissions.
