What is the size of the plot?

All i know is that it is a little less that a plot. I don't have the exact measuresument but let's say it is 100 * 60 (That is a plot).Rgds

Spyder880, how many hollow blocks will be needed to fence around the 4 corners of two plots (120ftx120ft)to about 10 blocks high?
What size of blocks is used for fence, 9in or 6in?
What estimate of bags of cements and sand etc. will be needed? All the cost to complete the fencing..

N1.2m if the job is in Enugu. Materials, gate and labour.

@Spyder, it's at (Kuje) Abuja. My Architect friend gave me a quote of N20,000 per linear metre. Isn't that N2.4m ? Is that a reasonable estimate for the fencing?

N2.4m in Abuja, well Abuja is a big man area so labour might be a little higher, I also know that he might use granite but it should not be so much above N2m for everything. My own conservative input

@londoncool shine your eye, 30m by 30m land is not that big to cost 2.4m with gate in (kuje)Abuja satellite town.
Let me give you little idea why it will not cost that much, your total parameter is=120. Now let us take each length of block is 0.45m abi,then divide 120/.045=267 blocks is what you needed for the coach layer of the parameter of your fence,remember you have to minus the gate space. The gate space could be 10ft I have no idea. Did your friend tell you that in Abuja the front fence of your building can not be more then 1meter high? Your fence most not cover your building if it does, Abuja development control will pull it down. Lets see how many blocks are now needed for your fence, we already have the number that will cover your parameter is 267x let say 9 coaches=2,403- gate remember the front of you fence is only 1meter height minus 469 blocks =1934x165= cost of your(9inches) block is 319,110 naira. you may need a 30 tons of sand and 40 tons of gravels and probably 90 bags of cement.
sand at 60,000, 30 tons of gravel at 90,000 then 90 bags of cement at 1,850= total 635,610 naira,this does include workmanship, supervision and cost of gate. I believe the gate should not cost more then 100,000 to 120,000 that is top of line gate.If you like call this guy for independent quotation Yakubu 08038898523 tell him someone refer you to him from US. From what I have come to learn about this country, plot sizes are not the same everywhere, and land types have a lot to say about the fencing type/foundation needed. I think you should specify your plot sizes and type of land so others can contribute with likely quotes.
No need sending the answers to your mail box, the answers could be open right here, many other people may have similar questions like yours, welcome.

Without pillars in between fences, the fence will be a long line of block work without any supports in between. Pillars are needed to add a touch of stability and hold the blocks to the ground. Different types of pillars exist, like the block pillar and the concrete pillar.
