overstocking usually causes o2 to b depleted in water faste,well water is generally low in o2,in the early hours of d day,it is low,when there is pollution.can be corrected with doin flow thru,letting water to be dripping into d pond,use of aerator ,oxygen stones, reduce stock,even by steering d water with your hands or neat rod, oxygen will b added into d pond(only it is minimal)

@ayoola190,also try to avoid high heat in your ponds,during this period o2 is reduced or low.for those with earthen ponds , no need to worry, nature balances itself except d soil air pores had being blocked by excessive polluting,God Bless

Very good day to you all,pls has anyone tried Top feed?I came across it here in Shagamu.I could see it was manufactured by a subsidiary of Flour Mills of Nigeria.I would like to know hw good is this feed.,and has anyone used it before?

Did u wash or dis-infect the drum before putting the fishes inside.. Or as u likely said it may be the water..

A bio disc doesn't need electricity, it is a round thick glass...

i dont use an earthen pond,but d importance of a good net is to prevent predators eg birds,reptiles from gaining access to yr fishes,if well installed,in case of flood,it also reduces d risk of yr fishes being washed off

my brother,d importance of net cannot be over emphasised. There are loads of bacteria carrying birds and reptiles that can easily get into your ponds,also are fish eating predators.
