@ OP. After going through all your post on nairaland, please i have some questions which i will like you to clear out. Sorry i dont know how link the topics. 1. Can you please attend to TOLUXA1 question on that link that was attached to your post? 2. Can you also please clear the air on your association with PERSONALDOMEST, the charcoal lady? 3. Why have you been keeping silent on the post. Your attention is needed. Will really appreciate this.

The toluxa fellow did not ask a question, he drew a conclusion linking me romantically to personaldomest. Since you have asked nicely you would get answers.

I am not personaldomest's boyfriend/husband.

I am yet to see anyone come to say the OP has defaulted, and though i can no longer get through to her i seriously hope that is not the case as i was and still am vouching for her/them.

I have been quiet because i have my own dealings to deal with so excuse me minding my business.
As for my relationship with her i have none, i really only got to calling them when i saw the way people were trying to destroy her efforts on her thread, but in my talks and advices to her i am pretty sure she has a good reason for whatever is going on right now.

My thread draws its inspiration from her thread and several like it.

Let us wait patiently and see the outcome of her thread before pointing fingers.

Delafruita: i got your mail with a link to this thread and i painstakingly went through.its a great idea and i'd love to be part of it.i dont have a niche so i dont consider myself an expert in any line of work or business.however,i started a real estate firm from scratch and we're moving forward.we constantly have projects that can be invested in for long term benefits.for example,we seek out dilapitated buildings, offer to renovate it and collect rent on it for 20-30years.thats just one example.please forward further correspondence to cornellrealtors@gmail.com

thanks

Great! Was talking to a movie director/writer friend of mine who is part of our effort and he made mentions of ideas parallel to yours. Like minds right? Thank you for believing in this effort.

This is mainly a discussion, not an investment, a discussion into the possibility that is regulated crowd funding. So far we have had great ideas from vested parties and an effort is being made towards the creation of a web platform that can accommodate all the great ideas being brought up.

I am glad because i know this is going to work, and in our short period of talks we have discovered a lot.
Thank you for your contributions, join in on our discussions as we can only get better from here.

true. we get proposals on so many buildings but often we have to turn them down.if we had a pool of investors willing to partner, then we can take on as many as possible.

i have done an independent research on crowd funding and it seems to be a novel idea which has achieved enormous success

I was looking for information on the licensing and legal needed to set up crowdfunding platform in Nigeria when I storm into this thread, I am very happy with the level of interest shown so far. To my understanding, crowdfunding is describes as a collaborative process of financial support from a large group of individuals, usually via the internet, to fund a business, project or idea. Crowdfunding will be an effective method of raising finance for people with creative projects to fund their goals. It involves Soliciting and Collecting relatively small amounts of money from a large number of people .
There are four basic types of crowdfunding, it depend on the type you interested to set up, they are:
• Donation-based
• Reward- based,
• Equity-based
• Lending or debt- based
Currently, I am planning to create online crowdfunding platform similar to www.kickstarter.com, www.indiegogo.com, www.rockethub.com in Nigeria in order to boost small enterprises in the Country. I am looking for information on the licensing and legal needed to set up the platform. All that I needed to kick off the platform are ready such as domain, concept, website wireframe, marketing plan, and API but I still want to look into the legal issue and everything it takes before I officially launch the platform. It is time to be creative and think on how to improved our country in one area or the other and stop beating around the bush and wait for government to do all things. Please any body with useful information on legal issue concerning crowdfunding in Nigeria should post or contact me. Thanks

Let us know when you have the platform up and running.

but just to add in a though, why dont we get involved in some crowd funding on the above mentioned sites.
Where some people will see this as a source of funds for their business.
I service this as source of publising ones business or a cause or a charity or a welfare.

Please remember its not just about the funds but to raise publicity about ones cause

Hello NLs and HNY 2 y'all, I feel so opportune to find my self in this thread. In fact, the OP has it all well dished out, its a gr8 work. The vision is clear and the mission outstanding. I love the idea. I am a new member of Angels Investment Network, and have been in search of funds for my brilliant idea. Though I am still at the novice level. I have this gr8 idea that will totally reform and change the Nigerian Rea Estate for the better. And I have gone as far as writing a good business plan for it. I think with this idea of Crowd Funding, I see the light glittering at the end of the tunnel for me. I'm all way in. raphael.bluewatersinc.kenechuk@gmail.com

So after all the great ideas and contributions discussions just fizzled out without any update? I want to believe something substantial has been achieved so far and the OP has moved the thread to a more secure place for serious people. If not it will be too sad that with so much enthusiasm, the whole idea ended up another talk without work project on nairaland
