If we can prove that there is no improvement from OM dual exhaust to his quad exhaust setup now, we can say he is a ricer. Dyno run I mean.
For now, let's see where he takes this , I am hoping he will be thinking of headers, intake (short ram, CAI) CAMs, pulleys . All these depends on how deep his pockets are, and for Hondas, performance mods are not that expensive .
So homeboy got something going on, I am not feeling the color of his rims though, that orange is not doing it for me .
9-10 yrs ago when I was into this set up , my boys and I can squeeze out 250-300hp from a B16 with no forced induction running all kinds of crazy setups.
Now, I feel like am getting old and take the long way home.

Power never feels old...I guess it's just going with da times...The long way home with no traffic or the winding roads on a cold Sunday morning....With 300 horses at my right foot, A pair of Raybans or Oakley's (if anyone still Diggs looking like James May)...that sir should be the long way home (except if you've got my wife as yours then you need to get home ASAP! cry

I had the misconception that those lights provided a "wider" beam...well thanks Sienna for the insight. .

welcome to Nigeria oga CityNG, we gat your back here. well as for my "quad" exhausts, its just on the tips. but now with all you have said I think is time I throw it in the trash(the exhaust). have my eyes on tsudo axle backs or magna flow once the cash drops. also any idea on d colour(s) I should paint the rims or should I just use plastidip? thanks all for ur mild critics.

cheers.

I hear you on this BUT I suspect that these are the cheap chinese mufflers on eBay.

It's up to the owner to prove his mods to stand out from the ricer crowd, if he cares.

Thanks for the welcome.

A "nice' color is relative, what might look good to you may look bad to you.

My suggestion is to look at modified cars and see what they did. Choose your color and stand by it, be ready to defend your choice of color on as many pages as necessary on NL grin

Whats the 0-60 now ?

0-60 is still stock times

It's the quote I got for the requested parts I wanted.

Best I could do was the CAI, and a couple spares.

"stock time" I meant to say, typography error.
that's quite fast...my 2.5l 323ci does it in about 7.6-7.7s, I had a race with a 3.5l v6 Camry sometime ago...i had him on the launch up to about 80km/h or so...those cars are pretty fast

Yup they are....was surprised to see that a Camaro lost to a Camry (both were V6)...

But still having an engine bay that looks like this on a Camry would scare the paint off a Ferrari 430 Scuderia.

I totally agree with you! The 3.5L V6 engine on the 2007 XLE churns out a cool 268 hp @ 6200 rpm. Trust me, those engines are fast. I always get that 'throw back' feeling when i step on the gas maybe from a stop-lightsmiley Its cool.

stoplight and even the top end...mine has a modest 170hp, almost 100hp less than the v6 Camry.

Hmmmm, I doubt how the 2.4L I4 engine on the camry can have a faster 'stock time' with its 158 hp @ 6000 rpm compared to the V6's 268 HP!
I have personally dusted a 2008 I4 LE on the highway, it never saw my back grin

It's stock time is no way near that of the Camry V6 (5.7sec) compared to a 6.4sec on the I4.

But you'll be surprised how close the quarter mile times are...14.1 on the V6 to a 14.4 on the I4.

So what happens at the top end of its power curve?

the 2.4l top end may not be that outstanding...i raced one in my 320i,2.0l 1994. He had me up to 180km/h,after which he could follow me no longer at +200km/h

Hmmm.my guess is that it was more of a stability issue than outright straight line speed (stock suspension setup-tire profile, ride height and car rigidity)

I have taken mine to 185kph with no problems past that and i notice a lil bit of bounce and weaving(tires)

I have stopped going after BMW ' S - FACT is you'll get mopped. angry

True, even with their SAV's as is the case with most or all German SUVs don't attempt to run them with your JapSUV's. I out ran a toyota V8 4runner when I still had my QX4 but I couldn't even out do a German, I switched to a RX AWD I felt its gonna be a new case but still they still trash the hell out of the RX. So the moral is unless you've got way much power and performance modification effect on your Japmobile, don't attempt running against a German no matter the engine size, its almost gonna be futile.

And this is what I call an upgrade.

When you still have to "race" other cars then you haven't really accomplished the hippo intention, if that is the reason for all the air dams.

As for me, sitting at a stoplight, the idle totally off due to the ridiculous camshaft that is installed, and a much faster pulls up next to me, I gently bleed the NOS, blip the throttle sending the whole car shaking a bit and then watching my fast car next to me change his mind and turn right makes it all worthwhile. grin
