I already didvthat a few days ago and I think it is a general consensus here that we have issues there.
But in a way I think we might get through with the way things are playing out. Smalling and Evans are hardly reliable both in terms of performance and staying fit but we could have some potential in McNair and Blackett. Both have had good performances. if either/both can get more games and build confidence, it would be great for us.
Luke Shaw is a huge worry for mr. he looks to be like Evans and Smalling type of spending more time injured.

This is the same Shaw who never got injured at Southampton.

Feelings are that it's no good news at all as United prepare for a 2nd scan. He might be away for a while.

We better get Anderson in shape. I am not for Fletcher now. Fletcher's game is too predictable.

This was my first suggestion on finding Herrera's replacement. Now on to the next one.

The good thing this time is that some are coming back.

Januzaj and Valencia are options too. Having Rafael on will help any one playing close to him.

This was when I suggested Valencia. I did not mention wing. I remember the last time at Goodison Park, Everton bullied our midfield of Mata, Fletcher, Nani and Kagawa, with Mata in the hole. So I wanted a better cover.

Van Persie showed some "hyena" tendencies today......i noticed a few selfish moments too

So who do you want to play in case Herrera isn't fit?

What happens when Rafael overlaps and Everton counters? Januzaj would be exposed. You have to do a good permutation. You want to leave all that work for Blind?

This question I put before Dadehmola clearing tells I was talking about the midfield.

* Dadehmola, I be coach o. No be me use all my strength bring Di Maria come Man United?

IYANGBALI:
Louis van Gaal on the 2-1 victory over Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday:

“It was a very good first half, like against West Ham. We created a lot of chances but in the first half we only scored one goal from all those chances. Then we got a penalty given against us. Everton hadn’t created any chances until the last-minute of the half, but fortunately De Gea stops the penalty. Then I thought the second half was easier to play against Everton because they wanted to equalise, so we had to keep the ball. But we couldn’t do that. I made substitutions to help our organisation but despite my changes it was not better because in the last 15 minutes they created three big chances.”

Van Gaal on goalkeeper David De Gea and his outstanding effort against Everton:

“David De Gea was fantastic today. When there are a lot of players in front of you your view is not so good as a goalkeeper. When the shot comes in from outside the box it is always at the last moment that you see the ball, but his reflexes are very good.”

Van Gaal on Radamel Falcao’s winner and the Colombian getting started on his scoring for his new club:

“Yes, he needed that goal. I talked with him and I told him that he was forcing himself too much to score. He is a player who scores in every match, but now he has waited to score. Now he has [got his goal], it will be better after the international break.”

Van Gaal on the ever-impressing Angel Di Maria against Everton:

“I have said in my press conference that he is a team player, that he gives a lot of assists and he is making a lot of goals. We also need balance in our team when we don’t have the ball. For that, we have to find the solution. He is doing great. He wants to do his work defensively, but the balance in our team in the second half has to improve. When we have the ball we have to keep the ball and we didn’t do that. So that’s why in the second half it was very difficult for the fans, for the players, for the substitutes, but also for the manager!”

Louis van Gaal on the injury that forced left-back Luke Shaw off on Sunday afternoon:

“It was an impact on his knee and he has a dead knee. He could have made it worse so that is why he stepped out.”

Gaal nailed it. Particularly the substitution part.

I knew you would try to be smart. This was your position that day, to which I opposed..

...after lying a few mins ago with this statement..

elampiro:

I can't remember what exactly I suggested. I thought I suggested Val should play to cover for Mata's midfield battle deficiency. I will look at that post again.

Considering the fact that you couldn't have suggested januzaj as an option based on the above, it's obviously you lied!!

Elampiro, give up - you wanted a Valencia wankfest on the wings and that was why I opposed you

Na sooooooooo

Great game played by the lads

Big thumbs up for david de gea.

Di maria..this boy is giving the manchester united haters some serious high blood pressure(I pray he will stay injury free).

But from my perspective van gaal has being given some serious liberty to experiment...that's why he's making some crazy substitutions..lol

Robin van persie is becoming pompous in my own opinion(van gaal's crazy favoritism towards him isn't helping issues).

Mata tried his best against a physical hard tackling team in everton....am sure he'll perform better against everton..rooney should slug it out with falcao and rvp in the advanced roles..I love mata playing an active part in the team

I don't know what you are trying to get at. What you quoted is not different from what I submitted already. Pu those three posts together and you should draw a conclusion. We were discussing Herrera's replacement. I said Val or Janujaz 'playing close to him' not 'playing in front of him'.

Anyone reading knew exactly I meant the midfield.

Dadehmola, Januzaj has played in the midfield this season, so I knew he could be creative there too. But his defensive cover was a worry in my choice.

he was dancing around mostly feather-weight players, hardly a mean feat. the rate Arsenal were being bullied off the ball is a real shame. Wenger need to buy physically tough lads like Welbeck, i wonder why they didn't get Song back

who? hazard?
he won't even be in the top 10 in europe. was this not the same hazard that looked outta sorts during the world cup? the potential is there but that's where it ends.

Of cause I'll never admit it to a chelsea fan but the guy is very good.
I'll like to know nine players u'll pick before Hazard right now.

@ Dadehmola, Hazard does not even come close as CR7 replacement, we re talking about someone that average 40 goals per season in all competition and you re mentioning Hazard, Hazard has potentials and quick feet but he can never replace a goal machine like CR7.

Silva and Aguero at City
Neymar,Messi and Suarez at Barca......and Iniesta
Bale,Ronaldo and James Rodriguez at Real
Zlatan
Robben
Ribery
Vidal.

Hazard is not in the top 10 or top 15, might sneak into top 20.......

And it came to pass that the word of the Lord
came to JOSE the faithful son of MOURINHO on
the 5th day in the tenth month of the Jubilee
year of the Lord 2014 in a still and silent voice,
saying: "Son of man, what seeth thou"?
And JOSE the son of MOU answered: I see a
confused gooners Camp, led by the master and
specialist in failure,Arsene the son of Wenger
looking lost and his team were like sheep on a
mountain without a Shepherd!
And the Lord said:"Thou seeth well. Be of good
cheer and courage.Have I not told you? He who
started this work last season by giving you a
6-0 sweet victory over the gooned lads is
faithful and just, he will surely complete that
which he started".
And JOSE bowed before the Lord of hosts,
smiled and replied: "I believe, Lord. Thou has
never failed thy son. May thy name alone be
praised at the end of the 90 minutes battle
today"!
And it came to pass that Jose the tactical son
of MOU appointed DIEGO the ruthless and skilful
son of COSTA to lead the attack of the Blue
Army against their gunner enemies.
And the mighty hand of the Lord was ready to
do mighty miracles as the victorious BLUE
ARMY gets set to ruthlessly destroy Wenger's
camp and remain on top of the EPL Table this
peaceful day of the Lord.
