Please if anyone is doing a food processing business here, can you please give me the cost analysis for getting nafdac certificate?

1. First setup the processing factory; then invite Nafdac for inspection, and they will take samples of your product for testing in lab.
2. If you pass the inspection, you obtain Certificate of Recognition.
3. Then you can register the product(s) with Registration Fee of N52,000 per product.
3. Fee for additional packaged sizes of same product is N21,000 each.
i.e. Register 10kg size at N52,000. Then Register 5kg, 2kg, 1kg sizes at N21,000 each.

My validation is also on the 22nd and i look forward to pinning faces to some of these great writers and threaders .

I av spoken to quite some people on alternative and renewable energy and still willing to help educate people on the best power options available for their unique business. Please the ground rule is "Do not be in a rush to install alternative power" and don't just make reduced prices your yardstick as all renewable / alternative energy solutions are initially cost intensive in the short run but massive cost savings in the long run and it directly impacts on your profit

Even if you don't patronize me please feel free to contact me on advice and lets do a load audit of your business together. Be cautious of inferior products and seek for a second professional opinion on all matters . cheers

it all depends on your budget, but hotels inside town are expensive, if the budget is below 5k, I will advise you lodge off town and enter town in the morning, there are nice guest houses around FHA, Lugbe(Airport road), if your budget is up to 6-10k you can lodge in town, Chisco Hotel at Utako (Jabi district) is cool and much closer. There should be better offers around too, so anybody with an advanced opinion should contribute. Avoid areas with early morning traffic jams.

Budget can go higher than 10k but less than 20k.

Thanks for your insight.... Will look into chisco online

Have you booked your flight?

Consider discovery airline... Fares are low and it's a new airline.

Youwin can't extend beyond 22nd.. There is another set on 23rd...you can book evening flights for return

OK, I just gave the explanation to accommodate everyone, because not everyone can afford 20k. there are many small hotels around town, but some of them get bad rooms or service, if you will go with valuables better find a reputable one. google each hotel to see what previous customers are saying. the one off Ahmadu Bello way (Kebbi) is cool though.

Another email from youwin..
Dear xxxxxxxxx,

This is a follow up to the previous email on the validation meeting and signing of Legal Agreement. The validation and agreement signing will take place at the Federal Ministry of Finance by 7:30am daily. The dates are;

Date for each Region

Monday, October 20 South-South
Tuesday, October 21 South-East
Wednesday, October 22 South-West
Thursday, October 23 North-West
Friday, October 24 North-East
Saturday, October 25 North-Central

As earlier stated, you are to come along with the original and one photocopy of your Government issued ID (that confirms your identity, age and Nigerian citizenship), registration documents, and evidence of business transactions (for existing businesses). In addition, you are to bring along with you documentation that shows your Tax Identification Number for your business (if you have).

If your existing business has been incorporated then you are expected to come along with a Director whose name is listed as a director in your business registration documents to co-sign the agreement with you.

For those booking hotels, there are good ones at Utako, Area 3, 8, 10 etc. They are above 10k but less than 20k. The trick is never take their prices. Ask for a discount and behave like u want to leave. There are good ones in Gwarinpa axis as well. Please do not be tempted to start going to outskirts. You will be caught in morning traffic.

Good evening everyone. First I send my gratitude to all that have been contributing to this thread because of the vast amount of knowledge we gain from them.
I am also a youwin3 awardee with an existing business. Though on youwin competition I registered my business as existing, I only registered it with CAC after first round result. I have been operating my biz with no CAC nor bank account- just locally. Now with this issue of evidence of transaction I am confused and don’t know what to do please pals advise me appropriately.
Here is what they said in the mail:
For existing businesses; registration documents (including particulars of shareholders and directors where applicable or partnership deed duly notarized by a commissioner of Oath to show ownership of majority shares by 51% and above), evidence of previous annual report, cash flow such as bank statements, purchase orders, customer’s receipts or other evidence of previous transactions carried out within the last 6 months only.

I remember vividly during the training we were told if one doesn't previous transaction history they should register as a new business. So you should have registered as new instead of existing.

no need tobe confuse.
just get ur receipts to previous transactions and most important records of sales and purchases. but remember to use different Biro/pen for the record or else they will tell u that this record was concocted.
cos I remembered vividly in my time a guy was told that his records were written last week so no cos for alarm. just make sure u have ur transactions receipts
