Lmao... Intimate knowledge of? Look child, take a seat. If you understood the subject matter of taxation, then you will understand my statement which is VERY SIMPLE. You alluded that Americans do not pay high taxes because they get refunds and what not; a refund is NOT absolute. Your deductions and credits are simple components meant to bring down the taxable income, NOT the tax bracket .... Geez. I think you should assess your knowledge on the matter.
