Greed is not a crime but it can lead one to commit a crime. Crime and greed go hand in hand. One may kill, steal, covert state property, kidnap a person, adulterate a product , change figures in cheques and acct balances etc.

The only reason I am cooling down is that he may not know about all that long story. Maybe he gave the project to a member whom he trusted to handle it and the person told hin all is well and the project can safely be carried out?
