it is due to love of illusion. (money wealth and power), the pursuit of this illusion is what killed and buried the blackman. this money, wealth and power is under the foot of every black person anywhere he goes. the whiteman claime we are the worst people of all and we are third world, yet we have the best place. GOD put us and gave us the best land. there is 29,000,000 square mile of farming land, the blackman has 23,000,000 of it. it is left to us to begin to study ourselves, our land, our waters and get close to our GOD, The Almighty creator.

Of course we are to blame ultimately for our own fate. It is a sign of adulthood to take full responsibility for yourself, your condition and your actions.
However the fact remains that one of the reasons we have failed to unite is due to several hundred years of colonialism, plunder and exploitation and continuing neo-colonialism today as we speak.

In fact given the amount of genocide and colonialism, the mere survival of the black man is a testament to our strength and resilience.

What we need to do is to re-educate ourselves into recognising our enemies (the white man and neo-colonialists) and waging a war to against them whilst at the same time doing all we could do to unite and progress as a people.

I understand what you are trying to say, and I agree with you, I still understand what iamord is also trying to say and I agree with him to an extent, of all the continents in the world the African continent has been exploited most, by Europe, the gigantic negative effects of European colonial and mineral exploitation in Africa can not be over emphasised, we owe our inability to unite, largely on the part of The Europeans, Europe underdeveloped Africa, they sowed seeds of discord and mistrust amongst African Tribes, the white man Brought Greed to Africa, disrupted our communal way of living, the white man showed Africans the evil side of Humans. And the most potent weapon the white man used against Africans is Psychological/ mental slavery. Majority of Black men have come to see the white man as God, With White Jesus as the only begotten son of God, (smh) The white man has painted a picture, where Humanity's redemption/salvation will or can only Come from a white messiah ( white jesus) this lie has been sold to Millions of Africa through the centuries, and this lie is at the forefront of Africa's problems, I believe the day Africa can become free from White Jesus is the day we would truly be on our way to Enlightenment, what happened to The African Traditional belief systems? What happened to Great African civilizations that sprung up hundreds of years ago? The white man destroyed all these. One of The most recent, was the Benin empire, where the King was disgraced, his palace torched and he was sent on exile, his lineage was ended. The bottom line of what I'm trying to say is this, iamord, you are correct to say the black man is to blame for still being underdeveloped, and I agree with you to an extent, But you have to understand and see that there are concerted efforts among Imperialist Countries to see that Africa remains underdeveloped, it is that Effort that we are speaking up against. As long as The white man still thinks Africa is nothing more than where they can come to steal Human and mineral resources at anytime, we would be far from development, the more divided we are the better for the white man.

Boko Haram is CIA sponsored and is aimed at distablising Nigeria to the extent of widespread sectarian unrest which would NATO /UN the excuse to come in and break up Nigeria.

Those who cannot see the white man as your enemy you are doomed!

What will NATO/UN gain from distabilising Nigeria? Seeing that they are already gaining more than enough.

USA and Europe are broke so it is time to suck harder on Africa.

They need to ensure that China does not replace them in securing our resources and also the danger that Nigeria could become powerful as we were during the days of Abacha is a risk that they may not want to take.

BTW latest Oil price: $74 per Barrel

Ask ECOWAS who was considered leader of Africa ?

Why do you think Sierra Leone has a major road in its capital named after Sani Abacha.

Would Cameroun have dared open it mouth to even claim Bakassi during Abacha's days?

Who was the regional superpower that intervened in Liberia and Sierra Leone wars to stabilise the region?

Dude when it comes to ECOWAS Nigeria is a superpower, but when it comes to A.U well I reserve my comment.

You seem to forget that the times of General Abacha is different from this present time.

Roads are named after villains and heroes, I really don't see how that aid in development.

When one consider is different from what really is. Nigeria is considered the 'Giant Of Africa' does this mean that we are really the giant of Africa?.

There's a vast difference between a man who says "I will tar this road and does nothing" and a man who says "I will tar this road and went ahead and tar the road.

Ask ECOWAS today if they still respect Nigeria as they did during Abacha era. Nigeria that is disgracing itself begging for loans to to buy jets to fight a fake jihadist who are sponsored by the same America our government has become a puppet for.

Those who were calling for the overthrow of Abacha should now realise that it was enemies of Nigeria USA and others that were funding and intigating dissent. Now they can see what has become of the post Abacha Nigeria.

lets get two things straight:
1. Ebola was engineered towards black people and zmapp can only cure the whites, thats why they didnt admisnister it to eric duncan but the other eight people were treated.
2. synagogue guest house was brought down the same way world trade center was brought down. is it a coincidence that the biulding went down when up to 100 south africans were lodged there just the sametime nigeria was trying to buy weapons through SA, weapons which the us refused to sell and blocked isreal from selling.

I don't know the Nigerian situation, but post independence Ghana led by Nkrumah ensured free education up to secondary level in the north. Northern educated elites someway somehow don't want to go back to contribute their quota after seeing the lights down south.

I am of the school of thought that, the chieftaincy institution is a backward primitive archaic system that should be relegated to the dustbin.

The chieftain y system isn't backward or primitives. Chiefs were the ancient version of modern day legislators and/or big-time corporate execs. They were crucial in taking decisions pertaining to a state.

Truth be told, The Nigerian Armed forces is not all that bad, there are a few brave men here and there in the army, But majority of them have become cowards, the recent reports of supposed soldiers retreating from boko haram is highly discouraging, and to add insult to injury, we are now hearing stories that hunters have started recapturing towns which the Nigerian Army retreated from tactically, if the Nigerian Army can not handle boko haram, a terrorist organisation made up of rag tag hungry looking men, I wonder how the army would be able to fight hardened Jihadist militants that will soon start proliferating the border towns, Tuareg rebels from Mali would likely start trooping to Nigeria to help their islamist brethren, and these rebels are hardline fighters, far more experienced than the crop of fighters in Boko haram presently, what would the army do then? The army is our last form of defence, and honestly it's asif Nigeria is without an Army. We are doomed if the Nigerian Army continues this New Trend of "Tactical Retreat" from major fighting. If The army feels it can not deal with fighting boko haram, it should contract the fighting to PMCs.

What good have they contributed to mankind? Is it not their fore father's that were sanctioning wars in order to have slaves in exchange for gin with the whites? Modern day legislators you say? Are these not the same people who were in bed with the whites?(indirect rule). Are they not in bed with multinational corporations like shell to rip off ogoni land?

This talk does not hold weight at all. Sani abacha was hated by the african leaders and was the butt of jokes.. When he had saro wiwa executed ,and nigeria suspended From un. He had to bribe rawlings to Help bribe fellow African leaders.. After his death. The last mark he could make was a full page with his face on Guinness book of world records as most corrupt. Leader of our Time. Do not let ego over shadow your thinking. A lot of countries contributed to liberia. and did not make noise. So stop giving all the credit To him He Gave them money and was a show off. Just for his personal interest. Of which they knew. he is a key investor. They will only do things to encourage him To invest more. Abacha was nothing but a tyrant. And cannot stand amongst great african leaders. Go now and ask the man on the street about abacha and u will weep for what will come out of their mouth
