You can't use today's geography to give a face to ancient folks and those from the mid-century cos of the admixture. Arab for example isn't a race, it's an ethnicity cos Arabs are of mixed ancestry. Black and other races. And there are a lot of black Arabs.

And Berber isn't a race as well, it's an ethnicity. The Tuareg folks of West Africa are also Berbers, and they're black. All these modern classification are Eurocentric just to deny the fact that black folks built the greatest civilisations ever known to mankind - and the foundation in which all other civilisations were built.

They said ancient Egypt wasn't black - but the mummies keep proving them wrong. The pyramid text also showed how Egyptians, before the 13th dynasty when other races of people started ruling lower Egypt, painted themselves as being black and separated themselves from other folks. Then you have got the Moors who came straight out of West Africa, and ruled Europe during the dark ages. That's something no one can't deny.

Also, when you look at Timbuktu, and the higher scholastic centre the Moors also built in Salamanca, you just have to see the fact that they were basically the same thing. And Timbuktu existed before Salamanca. Moreover, all the pictures of moors all over medieval Europe showed black faces.

Black men used to be great - Constantine and the Christian crusaders destroyed us. And when the Catholic Church ordered slavery after the Crusaders conquered the Moors, it was game over. But hey, nothing last forever.

You are among those who like to live in the fantasy land and it is not helping to move the continent and people forward. Having said that, there is no iota of truth of so many claims about black people as the original Arabs, moors, Jews or Egyptians. The blacks in the midst were by chances mingling with the original people learning one thing or the other.

However, Semitic people are not blacks or whites but in-between the two of them. They look more like the mixed race people. The word Semite originated from Latin and the online definition:

The Geography has not changed much even after many years while addressing it from the indigenous people's perspective. The Arabs were never black. They came from the Arabian desert in the present day Saudi Arabia. Their skin turned dark because of the sun and that cannot be used to qualified them as blacks like those found in West Africa, East Africa and some part of Southern Africa.

The same story can be said of Egyptian mummies. The fact that some of them were blacks doesn't mean Egyptians were blacks. Even in present day Egypt the indigenous people are Semitic, neither black or white. The black you see came from Sudan and other black regions within that particular geography. Please, leave mummies out of this if you aren't ready to put on their swaddling clothes.

The Moors aren't straight from West Africa. European only used the term for sub-Saharan Africans in the past as it came to be associated with Muslim which most of them were. Moor has been used in a broader sense than you are trying to explain in your post. But, the true Moors are Berbers who are from North Africa and they look Semitic.

I laugh at Timbuku story though. It is clear it was a place used by the Arabs to educate sub-Saharan people. Most of the writing and learning were done in Arabic. That is a big shame to those who want to claim they somewhat ruled the world in the past. They can keep living in denial or plainly delusional and I don't care. I think the terror in Mali have succeeded in destroying the arts, the ancient walls and fraction of books there.

Seriously, dude, you have no argument there. If you're going about race my definition is clear on that in my previous post prior to your last reply. There are three types of classification of race, the Caucasoid, Negroid and Mongoloid and they all belong to one race, the human race. I think that is clear enough to understand on race issue. But Moor is not actually about race because of how the term has lost its true origin. I make it clear in one of my previous posts that the original Moors are from present day Morocco, the Berbers. Their look is neither white or black but Semitic. When it comes to classification of their race they are grouped with the Caucasoid - if that is what you want to know about.

Those term you listed aren't new construct because some of them are as old as some history we talk about. You would have to look up the etymology to have better understanding of their origin. I have visited Carthage as well in Tunis. They are a lot of Roman historical sites there.
