Amara is one very close friend of mine who I hadn't seen in over 3 years now, lives and schools in the same town I do, though I have her contact and I'm connected with her on social media we just haven't been relating like that for some reasons known to her. So yesterday she just brought up the idea of meeting again due to the fact that it has been really long. Maybe she just wanted to see my face I had no idea. Ok na so what happens was......
I asked which will suite her better, that I come over to her place or she comes to mine, she said coming to my place was a better idea. It costs a trip of 400 bucks. So this morning by 7am I canceled the meeting cos I had my guys come over to my place and I felt her coming over might be awkward as well......
So I changed my mind. My guys and I went out to a bar (which is actually a very cool and serene place with no too much noise) close to my house. Then I called her phone and asked the chick if she could still come this afternoon and to my surprise she said yes. Ok oh, in a few hours she landed. Upon coming to the bar and meeting me and my friends I did the usual protocols na.... Offered her a pack of Chivita juice and we gisted well about our past. So as it was getting late we thought it's time to go home. So I put her in a keke that will take her straight to her doorstep. To my surprise she asked for a refund of the money she used in coming oh... shooo!
And I was like "what do you mean?" (in a soft manner) then she said "don't worry".
Do you know that I got home and this girl now called me and telling me that I should have used my sense to know that I'm supposed to pay for her? Telling me that the money she used in coming was her sister's money.
So abeg I'm confused with all these that happened here, I just felt I should post this my experience, lemme know if it's just me or is it the girl that is crazy? Cos I honestly did not even know what to reply her over the phone.

But from your story, the girl was out of line. It was not in her place to make such demands. You didn't beg for her to come. It was a consensual arrangement.

first off, I disagree with u completely about paying for her cab fare... Its an action u can either choose to do or not, its not compulsory... She chose to leave her house to come visit why then would she expect him to pay her cab fare to...? He paid her fare back which is quite gentle manly as it is not a must either... Most men do it just to look nice. If u can't afford to don't try to please her at ur own discomfort you'd only look stupid... But when u can afford to, why not?
