You have described this Femi Aribisala so aptly!

All his articles in the past one year have been almost invariably an attack on Tinubu, or a fallacious and unsound analysis on why the APC stands no chance against the PDP, or a shamelessly desperate psychological attempt to put a wedge in the budding political alliance between the SW and the North, the prospects of which threaten JEG and his cohorts more than anything else.

Any discerning observer of Femi Aribisala's recent writings can easily see through his pathetic boot-licking of the GEJ government, sometime even stooping to very lowly and shameless bigotry. A few examples:

1. "The Northern politicians clamouring for power after being starved of it for 16 years are not dying to do any favours for the South-West, given the eight years of Obasanjo’s presidency. They are dying to do favours for themselves. Once a Northern president is firmly installed in Aso Rock, they are going to stop returning Tinubu’s phone-calls." Femi Aribisala http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/01/bola-tinubu-want/

Can Femi dare tell the people of the SW what favours the South-South presidency of GEJ has been doing for the SW region and its people in the past 5 years? And how has GEJ been treating phone calls, and even letters, from OBJ, his SWestern political godfather, and that of Tinubu, who was also so instrumental in his victory? Can Femi tell us why OBJ felt it necessary to write his lengthy open letter to the non-Northern president in relation to the interests of the SW region?

2. " - The APC adventure marks the end of the road politically for Tinubu. It is downhill all the way for him from now on. The very things that made Tinubu successful in the South-West are bound to shipwreck him in the APC." Femi Aribisala
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/01/bola-tinubu-want/

Clearly, this betrays Femi as one of those who are so much pained about Tinubu's political status in today's Nigeria, hence he is so openly wishful of seeing 'the end of the road' for him politically and 'downhill all the way for him from now on'. Imagine this coming from someone who wants to be seen as a 'man of God'!

3. "Nigerians should not allow themselves to be deceived. There is no doubt that on the basis of merit alone, Goodluck Jonathan deserves another term in office. Few governments of Nigeria have been as purposeful as that of Goodluck Jonathan" Femi Aribisala
http://newswirengr.com/2014/10/14/femi-aribisala-what-exactly-is-clueless-about-goodluck-jonathan-2/#

For someone to have so immorally and unconsciously praised this obscenely corrupt and callously irresponsive and irresponsible administration of GEJ in this shameless manner only last month, and still believes he can advise the APC on who is their best candidate to defeat the 'purposeful' government of GEJ in the 2015 election, is simply delusional and narcissistic!

Very apt!

Even if Buhari were to decide to be diplomatic
about his defeat, his incendiary supporters don’t have the
word diplomacy in their vocabulary.

A lot of them are here on nairaland who don't have the word diplomacy in their vocabs namely;

The irresponsible and jobless nairaland insurgents led by orlando owoh.

When Muhammadu Buhari ran for president in 2011, he made a solemn pledge to Nigerians: “This campaign is the third and last one for me. I will not offer myself again for election into the office of president.”

But GEJ also promised not to run again in 2015. When will Mr. Aribisala write about that too?

Skipping all the grammer, what you simply meant by:
"For someone to have so immorally and unconsciously praised this obscenely corrupt and callously irresponsive and irresponsible administration of GEJ in this shameless manner only last month,"

was: For Femi to have praised this administration only last month;

and: "... and still believes he can advise the APC on who is their best candidate to defeat the 'purposeful' government of GEJ in the 2015 election,"

is: and believes he can advice the APC on who is the best candidate to defeat this GEJ administration in the 2015 election;

is simply delusional and narcissistic!

Really?

so praising an administration and giving an opinion on, according to you, who is the best candidate to defeat that administration (I don't believe that was his point, but anyways) is... delusional (uhh, okay, maybe), but, narcissistic?

and bringing back some of your grammer, you said it was immoral??

I was about to challenge you to see the grea strides of this administration, but if you really someone giving his opinion is narcissistic and immoral, shameless included, then even if I hold up a plus sign in your face in bright, you will only see the horizontal line.

So remarkablhy, I leave you in peace and wish you goodluck till 2019!

In all permutations, the only way, I have observed, to knock out Jonathan in 2015 is for Buhari (with his mystical 12m votes) to support Tambuwal for President.
Without Buhari support, APC can never produce anyone to beat Jonathan and Buhari can never beat Jonathan/PDP on his own in any national election
Re: The Impending Betrayal Of Muhammadu Buhari by Nobody: 1:47pm On Nov 18, 2014
Femi always churns out a good common sense read.

I have warned here that Tinubu is playing with scorpions and vipers with this his Buhari merger.

Buhari fans will riot in the north if he doesnt get the ticket and for the first time the northern mob will target the few Yorubas in the north and also attack Yorubas in their own land.

Excellent Article by Femi Aribisala. He disected and described the typical characters and major players in APC so eloquently that one may think Femi is a Political Prophet. Nice writeup.

One thing that really captures my attention is the so called Anti Corruption stance of APC. How can APC surrounded and lorded by corrupt politicians fight corruption? How will the so called anti corruption champion (Buhari) deal with Tinubu (Chief of Corruption) when he mistakenly wins the Presidency in 2015 (Highly Impossible)? Can APC be termed the Change Nigeria needs even when corrupt power brokers and personal interest overrides morality and conscience in the political evolution of APC? These are questions for APC e minions to ponder on. Ones a thief always a thief. I really don't see Tinubu giving his full backing to Buhari’s Candidacy as the party’s flag bearer for 2015. Why? Personal interest of course. Tinubu wouldn't like a situation where his financial empire will be challenged by an unpredictable character like Buhari. He would rather support all candidates through the back door. Tinubu will achieve this by using the tactics of IBB:
Be a friend to all yet a friend to none, An enemy to all yet an enemy to none.

Reading through the article reminds me of the movie: Pirates of the Caribbean. Of course we know who pirates are in the movie. They are Selfish, Greedy, Corrupt and self-seeking sailors out for their own personal gains and interests. Pirates can come together, strike a deal and work towards a common goal, but in the end they always betray one another. Ask Capt Jack Sparrow how many times he's been betrayed by his fellow pirates.
That is how some Nigerian politicians are. They will come together and even form a Political Party like APC to achieve a common goal (Wrestle Power From PDP). But in the end they'll always betray one another. Why? PERSONAL INTEREST.
