This is just a payback for Jim Nwobodo. All these could have been averted long ago if he had not embezzeled money meant for the development of his state in the 2nd republic. This is one of what an ordinary citizens have been going through. May God bless the departed soul and may God continue to run Nwobodo's life the way he had run a state in the east.

Someone has to go for this after due investigations which the senator can afford.
this is why i can't trust doctors in government hospitals that spend most times in the private clinics
Let Jim Nwobodo tell us the truth. Is a pity his son died, but blaming it on the doctor as negligence is laughable. His son has stage 4 cancer, which means it has spread all over the body (metastasis), there is no way he can claimed that the young man has been cure simply b/c he was treated in the USA. And there is no way the consultant oncologist wd have done anything other than what he did even if he has taken him to the moon or space.
Claiming of cure for stage 4 cancer is laughable and only the un-initiated can believe that cock and bull story of cure of stage 4 cancer.
May the soul personality that animated the young man while on sojourn to planet earth progresses in peace profound until he is born again into the kingdom of God, amen.

That is why Man can NEVER be God (i repeat never) because we judge with sentiment and emotions
ofcus man is an emotional being expected to have feelings of luv and empathy for others. It beats every rational imagination that our political class prides themselves living in massive opulence while the poor die in abject poverty. They shouldn't be shown that dewy-eye when they face the same problems faced by the disprivileged masses. God grant me the privilege of leading Nigeria someday, I will ban every form of medical and educational tourism from any public office holder and his family. The onus of fixing our country lies with us.

As GOVnors, SINators, saTAN ambassadors, members of the house of representaTHIEVES and poliTHIEFtians, they legisLOOT our common wealth into their private accounts and pockets. From state assemblymen they become commissioner, from commissioners to ministers, from ministers to deputy gov'nors and to gov'nors, from gov'nors to VPs and eventually to presidos. In all their long rulerships, they fail to build lasting infrastructure that will take care of the people. Their children school abroad while they treat their headaches, malaria, toothache and other minor ailments in foreign hospitals. They forget there is a day of recorning, a day when what goes around will come around, a day of karma. A day to hear of American drugs, Indian hospitals and Cuban doctors, infact a day when the chickens will come home to roost, a day to die!

R.I.P to all those that died through the negligence of our doctors. Mr. Senator, the only thing i can say is take heart. Your son's case is not the first neither will it be the last as long as greedy and corrupt politicians keep embezzling money meant for providing basic/social amenities. what goes around comes around. POLITICIANS beware!!! you deprive the masses to enrich yourselves and your families but remember one day you guys shall be the victims of your own creation.

D Doctor is never culpable until proven otherwise..
1)we need to hear from the med. Doc as well.

2)Any stage 4 cancer has already metastasized except for a few that respond to chemotherapy...

3)Most stage 4 or terminal stages eventually give up.

4)D Med. doctor/ consultant can't afford to make mistakes considering his DIGNITY and EMINENT Nigerians involved....

5)Most eminent Nigerians have LOST their wives to BREAST CANCERs even ABROAD..
So at this stage(4) is beyond having an Ambulance..

6)Cancer is very DEBILITATING...so at this stage(4) most patients are usually DEPRESSED and opt for suicide or mercy killing....MOST ho through EXCRUCIATING PAIN..
MOST CANCERS are worse than HIV..

7) Above all NO ONE IS ABOVE MISTAKES...not even the WHITE DOCTOR dat. Operated upon CHIEF STELLA OBJ..
coolRIP...take heart..

Dear Senator, I do feel for you in the way you lost your dear son. Be informed that many ordinary Nigerians die on daily basis because of government negligence. The govt have destroyed roads, health sector and what have you. This is a lesson to our government officials that are piling and loading money in their account or special rooms in their homes is not a guarantee for long life. Secondly, Nigerian doctors are just too money conscious, a doctor almost got me killed because of money and was giving me wrong treatment and giving me bad information. There are too many fake drugs in the market or rather substandard medications. RIP to the young man and may God grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

And in a third world country like Nigeria, that doctor will just say sorry to Nwobodo's family and he will get away with this negligence without punishment or prosecution. That's what's killing professionalism in Nigeria. Nobody is pays for their medical mistakes

A stage 4 cancer has d worst possible prognosis, its only God and he alone that can cure such. The doctor might have taken him to his private clinic for closer observation in view of the ongoing strike by JOHESU.Let us not judge until we hear frm d oda side.

People are already calling d doctor names because of one paragraph narration of a sad father's story. Na wa for nigerians oooo. Who hears d doctor out?, he says d son was cured of cancer?who says its drug complication?dont you know that many private hospital are better at service provision than d public hospital?. U.N.T.H can not even boast of oxygen for mass casualty. There are medical records of him, who has the details?.lets be civilised.

Karma remains a bitch.
Negligence what? Jim Nwobodo neglected Anambra in his tenure, neglected Nigerians when he dined with Abacha, neglected his dying lover Nelly Uchendu who died in penury.
Anyway, RIP to the dead.

Re: “how Enugu Doctor ‘killed’ My Son’ – Senator Jim Nwobodo by stagger: 12:42pm On Nov 20, 2014
Please let Jim Nwobodo tell us what he did between 1979 and 1983 as governor of the state where that hospital is located.

I also remember the National Stadium scoreboard in Lagos got missing when he was Sports Minister. We sympathize with him on the death of his son, but what about others who died from the neglect of hospitals under his tenure? What goes around comes around.
