You people should allow President Jonathan to complete his two terms.
Atiku, Buhari, and Tinubu want to sacrifice 200,000 Nigerians because of their ambition.

Dude you may be blind, but you cant be this thoroughly blind. I fact-checked, just one single pics out of all is not Nigerian. The article you quote rather stole images from Nigerian riots. Am sure u recognized ur landscape and countrymen

You'd be surprised how deeply in denial some Nigerians are. One of the two people who doubted you, I recognize. He was arguing once that there aren't Nigerians living on less than a dollar a day, in abject poverty. Fiercely arguing.

I don't have a single doubt about the reality of these pictures.

Thank you for bringing this to Nairaland, because people need to see and understand what this looks like. Some horrors are beyond words.

has anybody ever wonder why these things dont happen in developed countries like UK and France?, its cos of illiteracy and our leaders dont want us to be educated in order us not to challenge em for our rights. most of the people would prefer to choose a leader from their religion or region which i absolutely condemn without thinking whether he is capable or not. for example despite all the 100 ways jonathan showed that he isn't capable of ruling nigeria, many people from the south will use their hands to cast vote for him in 2015 which is bad and not thinking of the bad situation he is going to put nigeria again. And its not that opposing jonathan because he is christain but base on the fact that many citizens including millions of southerners benefit nothing from his administration and yet they will be the ones to vote for him. i rest my case here but me opposing jonathan doesn't mean i reckon you to choose a person from particular tribe or religion, infact election day would be a wonderful day to me cos am gonna sleep for 24 hours without going out of my room grin but think twice before you cast your vote.

Rather than be bothered whether the pics are from Nigeria or not,the message is clear and very likely to happen here too if our politicians continue with their incisive comments.

There is no need pointing accusing fingers, its everybody collective responsibility, to fight a common goal, if there is an outbreak of war 2day, those politicians, northern elders will fly out of the country, and who will suffer?

We are a peculiar set of people. Why do we support some actions even when it is obvious that it is wrong. How can anybody justify APC calls for violence or justify 7 assembly member out of 26 impeaching a sitting speaker. How can we justify GEJ calling for the the house to reconvene and consider emergency rule extension while at the same time barricading some people including the speaker from entry.
Above all most of us have nothing to gain personally. They don't even know that some of us exist.
If the trouble really starts, none of them will be here.
Ultimately, we are the fools here. The politicians, who have no permanent enemy (as they have shown us several times) are the perennial winners.

These pictures (and the anomaly they reflect) evoke unspeakable sadness, but that picture with the young fellow poised to stab the shirtless older man, that picture is truly frightening. The youth is just about to take a human life, but look how cold and casual he seems.

As many clamoring for civil unrest, please think twice before supporting the blood tasty politicians.

For your information, their own family are well secured, it is our family that is at risk her, your parents, your uncles, your sisters, and your extended family.

For some of us, we may not have the full-capacity to evacuate our extended family from this part of the globe, but at least our nuclear family is save.

So, Nigerians shine your eyes. Enough of offering the blood of our country men and women on the altar of wicked politics that benefit only the politicians.

Shalom
