your wife is your property and not the public. Her body is for your eyes only and not for other men to feast on it. She can dress sexy,even bare it all for you indoors. But outside,she should portray decency. Let her buy clothes that accentuate her shape and all.

If she dressed sexy before you married her,she must stop it now she is married. She is now a role model to her children esp. daughters. Some kids be like "mum wears short gowns,why won't I?"
More reason why there are rape cases. Catch my drift?

I feel if your dressing is good enough to get you married to your husband, it should be enough to keep you in your marriage.

The issue of changing dressing has ruined many marriages.

Some women think "married women should tie Wrapper, wear only skirt and blouse and never wear fitted clothes".

Other women believe you should be fashionable in marriage even more than you were as a single woman.

The bible did say we should do things in Moderation, even our dressing.

I have male friends who have confessed that they could cheat once their wives stop being attractive, ie being stylish and fashionable.

If your fashion as a single is decent and moderate, why will you want to change that, to tie wrappers?

Your fashion and style does not have to change if it is decent, except for a woman who dressed seductively and wants to change due to marriage.

Marriage doesn't change a H.oe though, there is no point making a H.o.e a house wife.

Did u get dat last statement from "Snoop dog"!

And what is this rant about 'Single girls dressing seductively to attract a man?' undecided undecided.. Do I need to look like a LovePeddler or show "some flesh" before a man can get attracted to me?? All poo undecided.. Whatever happened to 'DECENCY?'

Moderation and Decency is the key, whether as a single/married lady.. I see no reason why I should change my dress style/sense as a married woman, and that because even as a single girl, I dress right with my 'Conscience' @ work...

Every single cloth has got its function, as you wouldn't expect me swimming in a gele and wrapper, all because I am married.. I'll still rock my bikini, but a more befitting size cos my body shape would have changed a bit..

.......Tying of gele/wrapper is something I personally don't like and that's because I term it as being difficult...

N/B: I don't have to go 'NAKED' to be ATTRACTIVE....

Before marriage a woman's glory is for everyone?

HFOG:
After marriage a woman's glory is for her husband so she should try to please him in many areas including dressing. Many men wouldn't want their wives scantily dressed. Married women ought to dress naturedly and decently to bring honour to their husbands. As we mature many things about us should change positively including dressing.

For me. The way a woman is dressed is pet of what attracted me to her, so if I saw u dressed the way You were and I still put a ring on it, I expect you to continue dressing in that way, that keeps me focused on just you...and personally I like my woman dressing smartly and sexy, be the head turner anywhere you go, that for me as a man keeps me happy, but if you decide to start wrapping up thinking you are pleasing me, then you are surely getting it wrong...flaunt those legs, if u have a cleavage flaunt it responsibly, if u have a big bum package it in a way that's gonna make me always wanna touch it, and let's have a happy married life

thanks Ma'am

You know it's not always about
__ Indecent ----> Decent

There are women whose husbands want them to show some flesh.

Your welcome smiley

In my opinion, I don't see the reason to change my personal style after marriage from what it is now. I won't be changing my wardrobe, personality, style.

As for husbands who want their wives to show flesh, I'm not sure what to say to that...only that they surely would've picked someone whose style of dress they fancied by being drawn to her the first place. You don't set out to change people in a marriage, rather you find someone compatible - less headache that way.

I remember a thread a while back where a man complained about his wife wearing 'trousers' after marriage. When asked if she wore it before - during courtship - he said yes! But he didn't mind then...he minds now. A while after that, a man came on to complain that his wife had adopted a simplistic lifestyle that excluded makeup, accessories, and the effort he was used to seeing her apply, because she'd started embracing a stricter form of religion lol! It's like someone either wants you to change, or hates you for it...and on the most trivial issues too. This 'marriage biz' is scury embarassed

I think its more of a cultural thing. In some cultures, singles or unmarried mothers cannot tie two wrappers. They think its for married women. As for me though unmarried, I wear what I feel comfortable in and even after marriage, I don't think I will change. My mum usually teases me and says that if I had my way, I would wear jeans for my traditional marriage.

With all due respect the bolded shows you are interested in yourself alone...not altruistic. What happens if your husband has the same tradition of doing stuff that comforts him and himself alone! That'll be inevitable disaster considering that altruism among men towards women in marriage is as scarce as a blue moon!

It is weird seeing comments like "your wife is your property and not the public's" or "a woman's glory is for her husband" coming from women. Women who think like this have been drinking that servitude juice for too long.

@Topic

Women should always dress decently whether married or single. Single women should not delude themselves with the thinking that because they aren't married they have a license to dress indecently. Married women also shouldn't think that because their husbands approve they can dress indecently too.

Women have a responsiblity to always clad themselves with the most decent and beautiful attire that they can afford. DECENCY and BEAUTY should always inform a woman's dress choices and not the dictates of prevailing fashion trends that seem to veer only towards nudïty and sëx.

Decency should be adhered to by both married and unmarried people. What does it profit a woman to move around seducing men that are still in the flesh? Don't u know that if u cause another to sin, you'll also partake in the consequencies of that sin. What pains me is that there is indecency even in the church.

That is why in marriage, you should marry a born again christian. The bible is very serious about this. It is only a worldly man that will flirt bc his wife doesn't walk half naked along the road.
