Noun is a name of any person, animal places or things.

We were thought that in Burundi
...you are right-the school has names of students;the school trains human being into better people;and it has lots of things like many computers for staff and students alike during the e-exam.NOUN stands for National Open University of Nigeria;not your meanings you gave.

Noun is a nice place to study, I did my PGD and my MSc program there. Although my PGD took years to complete because that was when the school started and they had problems with course materials but now everything has changed and they ve really improved. I completed my MSc in no time. I ve even collected my PGD and MSc CERTIFICATE and I used it in my place of work, NOUN certificate is well recognised , I'm now doing my PhD program. So I can recommend noun to anyone, all u need is to really study hard

So does that mean you can enroll from outside of the country?
I don't think so. How can you do your screening? Exams are not written online, you need to be present there.

But the council of Legal education expressly and specifically stated that noun is not accredited for law because it is a part time school and law can't be studied part time, although the school is a good one.
...NOUN's school of law is accredited..

I guess the person that gave you that advise doesn't like you because UI ODL is time waster. My bro as been there since 2009 and as neva graduated(note: he doesn't av any prob dia), sometimes they will spend up to a year before they resume for another session.
I collected their DE form this year and I was given admission but I have made up my mind to let go because it seems to be a ridiculous journey to me cum their outrageous tuition( which is now 159).
I will advise you to put in for NOUN.
Go for UI ODL at your own risk.

All I can say is dat those who think NOUN is part-time or less dan conventional uni are just afraid of change, this ''change'' is what d so called leaders of tomorow (youths) are clamoring for, but yet afraid 2 embrase it!

Teaching staff?
And so i thought.
I don't even expect a student to write in that manner not to talk of a teaching staff wanting to give assistance.
I pity anyone that will fall for this.
