Bochum admission for summer is between Nov 15 to Jan 15, but I guess you have a german language certificate, because even if your course is english taught, sufficient german language knowledge is still required

Hello house, its been a while I last visited this forum due to work. As the saying goes; ' when the going gets tough, the tough gets going'. I have been able to secure a new passport after withdrawing the one initially seized and returned to the immigration by the German Embassy. Funny enough, I got a new admission letter just 2 days after I went to capture at the Immigration headquarters in Abuja so as it is now, I have gotten the new passport already, the new admission letter for summer 2015 and I have already applied for an interview date in January 2015 and still expecting to hear from the embassy as to when I should come for the interview.

I'm back for good this time around and I hope the house is still as informative and educative as its always been. Top of the morning to you all!

hello people, according to the international office here, there are a whole lot of applications that they treat because of the english language courses and they are always unable to attend to all the applications ...some qualified people dont get admission and late responses due to the large number of applicants ....now they are giving out the whole aplication process to uni-assist...before you apply directly without paying uni-assist,but now everyone must apply through uni-assist.
I am talking about Rhine waal university of applied sciences,so you guys should apply via uni-assit from next year..
cheers

it depends on the school you want to apply, langauge requirement varies from school to school, even from department to departments. some schools will only request for a proof of english proficiency which can either be a letter from you school or your state ministry of education while some schools are skeptical about you taking test of english exam that is IELTS or TOEFL. your first assignment is to search for english taught programs and find out more about thier language requirement.your 3.65 gp on german scale is 2.01.............you have a good grade

Tell her to go to the foreigners/aliens office in the administrative office/local govt. where she stays and make enquiries or she can even call them before hand and book an appointment but the procedures differ from one alien office to another.

@PedigreeCity, I will advise you go for a BSc course that's your surest bet. when you have decided to do that, read at least the last 150 pages.

emerald14, the embassy ain't closing for the year, they will just go on the the days declared public holidays in Nigeria.

@esdajo I hail o...thank God you have made progress.

Hey It's being long peeps...I hope you guys are doing good. I once read someone looking to apply for Masters in Physics.
http://www.uni-ulm.de/nawi/master/physics-msc.html....I think the deadline is near.

And those of you interested in Finance, one of my colleague here is doing the programme and it's really challenging and the application starts January 1, mostly what you see in the department are internationals and Ghanians...
http://www.uni-ulm.de/index.php?id=43481

For the Engineering guys : http://www.uni-ulm.de/nawi/chemie/studium-und-lehre/studiengaenge/energy-science-and-technology.html
There is Energy Science and Technology...

Why I gave out the link is not to spoon feed anyone but I felt someone might be interested and also it will give them ample time to start arranging their documents.

Is the master in Physics admission very competitive?

My admission was initially for this winter semester but I had a problem with my former International Passport. To cut the long story short, I deferred my admission against summer 2015 and I already have it as I was given priority since I was already on the queue, so its not like I reapplied afresh. Hope this information is helpful.

I can't really say because I think it's new but I am sure it's challenging as well...For you that studied your bachelor's here...you will be able to get in easily. I can only say much of those programmes we have Nigerians doing it like the communication and finance. Those are quite competitive especially when you have lots of Asians applying...
