di maria is the only player with genuine pace we have upfront. rooney/RVP/falcao don't have any sheer pace. this is one of the reasons wilson gets to make the team.

van gaal doesn't see rooney as a striker. rooney's position keep going backwards - from the striking position to trequartista and now to central midfield.....RVP turns 32 next summer. falcao can't sort out his injuries. surely, there's a vacancy for bale to fill in our squad.
