Its not the wife's fault, neither is it the fault of Beer or Nkwobi and Isi-ewu combined!

Blame it on LACK OF EXERCISE!

.....And l can understand that from the perspective of a Nigerian man who wakes up 5:30am and sits in traffic of another One hour just to get to work.
Spends hours at a very unhealthy job that thinks going "on break" is a favor!
Spends another two hours in traffic snarls, trying to get home in the evening.
Gets home very late and has no choice but to eat "heavy starchy food" like Fufu, Eba, Amala, Bread, e.t.c (Some men can eat, ehn? phucking Gluttons! )
Before he finishes eating, he is already "snoring", being very tired and fagged-out. Food does not leave his chest and stomach so digestion and onward push to the intestine is inhibited. The "decomposing food" produces a lot of "GAS" which further bloathes the stomach.
Weekend is also either a "work-day" or church day! Not to mention attending to visitors!!

The result is what you see! PREGNANT MEN!

I say MEN should get out there and exercise! Ride a Bike, Run and Jog, do push-ups and sit-ups, stretch exercises, use a Thread Mill at home... but be consistent at it.

I am talking from personal experience.
Today, people see me and in "estimating my age", lower it by as much as Twenty Years at times! but l have a son who is almost twenty!
Mrs Lastpage loves it but at times, she gets scared of those "under-gee" girls that run after me, thinking l am some young dude.
I tell her, dont worry, l have had my fair share of that "action" in the past, now l am focused on YOU.

BTW: Nothing turns me off than a woman with "permanently" protruding tummy!
Child/pregnancy experience is not an excuse either. Get exercising!

Are you saying they started having more of these things when they got married?

1. I think it is more of food being readily available at home. There is a woman do do the cooking and baking and make the drinks (Kunu, Zobo, Orange Juice, Smoothies etc.). Unlike when they had to go to the market and do the cooking themselves.

2. Most married men do not bother about their shapes/figures anymore most times. They are more comfortable now and focus more on their family life and its challenges. When I was back in Uniport where I started Karate back in 1999/2000 we trained 3 to 4 times a week. We were in good shape and we loved it for most of my life between 21 to 30 years I was in perfect shape. I doubt if a married guy will have time to have that much commitment to keeping fit and being in good shape.

Marriage means little or less time for exercising but more time for time for making ends meet. Which mainly involves white collar jobs, working on the PC and swivel chair for hours. No exercise. The next thing the married guy wants to do is buy a car for the family. etc.

LIFE STYLE CHANGE IS THE MAJOR REASON

How to a Excel at an Uninspiring Job

I have been a graduate for roughly about three years,in that time i have worked in two different places (presently in my second appointment) , I spent a little over a year “learning the ropes” in an entry-level position at a quiet TV station in my state capital.

It was a struggle to feel like the engineer i had dreamt about becoming when i graduate from the university.The job, though technical to a certain degree was monotonous and uninspiring and the environment was a little slow for a fresh graduate,and an able bodied young man.
