I just realised you all don't read things posted in full, what part of "I left the company since 2006" don't you understand . He is no longer at Jay kay pharmacy, yes he founded it with people and is no longer in their board of directors. And he also challenged fashion to go find out at cac or where ever he wants to.

This is how we blindly plunge into arguments we know nothing about. Please read before you spit.

But Jimi is still the largest shareholder of the company and should the state govt close down the company for tax evasion people like you will never hesitate to accuse Fashola of closing Agbaje's company and thereby politically witch hunting him.

A company can be exempted from paying corporate tax on earnings where a loss is recorded. How are we sure the company is making a profit?

By the way corporate tax is not the same as property tax as property tax can be deferred.

Jaykay also provides much needed employment and an avenue for VAT collection. So no matter how you view it Jayjay still contributes to Lagos coffers.

Fashola is very irresponsible

For 8 years he did not know Agbaje was evading tax until the eve of election

He is clearly more concerned about Tinubu's interest than the public interest!
Shut it.. Did you call Obama irresponsible when he ousted romney during elections that he was irresponsibly evading tax despite being a multi-millionaire?
The elctorate need to know the true characters of those that seek to govern them period!

If you has a responsible home owner in lagos state pay the same tax then why shouldn't he do the same?

Forget the date.

The letter has a refrence number, address of origin and duly signed by the commissioner for finance.

The date can be an error from the same office which may have been overlooked by the recipient and the author at the Time of issuance.

Jimi is not daft as to forge a govt document with stamp and signature of a commissioner and then display it to the public.

Anybody this daft to forge a govt document will not display it to the public because it can easily be verified from the records office.

This letter needs forensic test.

1. The date is 30th January, 2015. Was it post-dated?
2. What about those lines as if one letter is super-imposed on another?

spell (a word) wrongly.

They usually write it like that because they don't know when the notices or the letter will get to the recipient. They conveniently put last day in January bc it is a January of the year notice. Some may not get the letter or notice until February or March. I have received about three notices for 2015 Land Use Charge already for some of the houses I manage. This was about a week ago.

Although he founded JayKay
Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Agbaje left the
directorship of the company in 2006, and
this is on record with the state. He is no
longer involved in the running of the
company. And today, he is not even an
Executive Director.

Governments do not post date letters. They write the date it was sent out and when you get it, you get it. They don't care when you get it. Things like post dating letters bite governments in the backside so they don't even attempt it.

No need for a forensic test...is so oo fake, it is a photocopy placed on a government letter head. Mr jimi agbaje address is not align with the lagos state government address. I don't think in this day and age a city the size of some European countries will write that kind of letter. .

So any issue of evading tax would be for his personal residence and that has been squashed also

Squashed on the 30th of January, when today is 29th? Evidently u lack attention to details. Hope ur not having issues at ur work place?

I talked as a professional. The letter comes with the demand notice for 2015 Land Use Charge. They usually put it in the envelope of people that are not owing previous ones.
The demands by law is supposed to be issued by January every year but because of circulation, they started distributing it on time.
Please Bros, believe whatever you want, it is a free world, I may scan some I have received to you when I get to the office.

This letter is for his private residence and not his company Jay Kay pharmacy. You people should not attempt to lie.

If this is for the company, it will be addressed to the company and their address will be there. They should bring the one for the company out.

you read am or you foolishly run to comment? He is no more a director of JayKay and has nothing to do with the company abey u go pay for wetin u nor get

Does he get an annual report as the largest shareholder?

This you and I can not prove beyond reasonable doubt, or can you?

Someone who wants to be governor of a state with strict tax laws should also make sure that it starts with a company that adds to his finances and he is the majority holder.

Do you by any means have prove to this effect that Mr. jimi Agbaje still benefit frm Jaykay comany? This is just a propaganda @ the highest level, I always follow your post here on Nl, u should cultivate the harbit of speaking with facts and figure and not just be political all the time.

This pharmacy has just 25 workers and one office ooo. How hard can it be for Mr. Agbaje to go through the books? Is this how he will leave the work to the commissioners when governor? (thank God he wont win sef)

When someone has left a company since 2006 as he clearly stated, how den can he still have access to the books of the organisation? Is like saying Jim Ovia of Zenith bank, former Md can still have access to the books of Zenith bank.

Man, it's obvious you have not received such letters before. They are ALWAYS postdated because of the delay in delivery. I received one just like that in the first week of this month and it was dated 30th of January.
