Supper:
@BlackKenichi

Yep British colonial & antebellum US slavers learned from their own mistakes and those of the Caribbeans, and were very particular about the type of Africans being brought it and held large prejudice against Igbos, due to their tendency to favor suicide as opposed to a life of enslavement and Central African Bantus(Angolans/Kongolese) due to their penchant for maroonage, encoded message drumming, and fighting styles disguised as dancing, all of which led to the stono rebellion.
Indeed. However a lot of the slaves that that were imported to the Anglo Caribbean islands were Igbos and other SE Nigerians (also Cuba imported a lot of Igbo and Biafran slaves as well). Igbo slaves according to slavers had the highest runaway and suicide rate of African slaves. Kongo Kingdom slaves also had high runaway rates as well.

Supper:
The aftermath of which led to a ban on drums and other loud instruments and limitations on the imports of Angolans and a major shift towards the Upper West African Sahel/Sudanic regions(which were already in high number due to the rice agriculture).
That's true.

Supper:
Slaves from the port of Senegambia were always the majority in French Louisiana, though, and like the gullah-seminoles had close ties with "belligerent" native americans. These slaves participated in the Natchez revolt in Louisiana.
The Carolinas also imported a lot of Senegambian slaves as well. The Gullah on the other hand were mainly consisted of Sierra Leonean and Kongo Kingdom slaves (they also have the highest SSA genetic percentages in the USA). The Black Seminole maroons (America's true freedom fighters) were mostly escaped Gullah slaves who joined up with the Seminole Indians.

There were not many scholars 2000 years ago, doesn't mean Eritreans and Ethiopians didn't exist. Also, how can you claim relations when their are stark differences in Somali and Ethiopian cultures?

First of all there isnt anything called ethiopia it is a fake colonial creation. The name ethiopia itself is fake. Ethiopia today is a nationality not a ethnicity and Eritrea is the same.

This a map of different ethnic groups who inhabit ethiopia

See! It is ironic since somali own and inhabit the most land by ethnic group in ethiopia and have since forever.

So what ajuuran Say is not wrong. Somalis were part of axum empire.

Somalis as an ethnic identity did not exist during the time of Axum, neither did any other ethnicity in the horn of Africa. As for Somalis controlling that much land, that is simply because of the last 500 years when Somalis defeated Ethiopia.

1,400 years ago when the Prophets companions were seeking refuge, they were given asylum in the city of Zeila, at the time part of Abyssinia, that land is now in Somalia. This shows their was no Somali identity that long ago, and is corroborated by visitors of the area who labeled the people Berber.

Stop the bullshit. Its well documented that Nubians are not from the cushitic language group neither are Ethiopians, their language is hamitic. Again, the Nubian and Ethiopian empires were during different times in history. Abbysinian and Nubia did not fight or control each other.I understand your need to fabricate Somali historical facts but dont drag other cultures in your futile attempts.

First of all nubians are mixed cushitic and nilotic people. The ancient egyptian language was afroasiatic. Abyssinia didn't exist at the time kush was there. Axumit existed.

Axumite existed during the same period of kush and conquered kush and took it. The captital of kush is in ethiopia.

Nubians themselves didn't come in to the picture until the 4th century
The name Nubia is derived from that of the Noba people, nomads who settled the area in the 4th century, with the collapse of the kingdom of Meroƫ. The Noba spoke a Nilo-Saharan language, ancestral to Old Nubian
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nubia

So the people that ruled their were most likely cushitic people over kush.

Dont Even bother Saying kush spoke nilo saharan languages, since meroitic language is pretty much an extinct unclassified language.

Again this common knowledge not revionism

Not sure if the etnic grouping somali existed. It may have

here is a map of perpilus of the erythrean sea look to see how the word soo maal existed in 560 CE

Samaulie was mentioned in herodotus book ironically. But dont know if that name was popular or not. We were called berbers and puntites though.

Not really we own that much land before ahmed gurey went on conquest

No zeila wasnt apart of abyssinia.

It was part of somalia or at the time called barbaria

As you can see ogaden was still part of somalia back Then when somalia was called barbaria

What truth is that Kenyalady, that you are obsessed with the phenotypical difference between a Horn African and a Central or West African.

You support the Eurocentric 19th century classification of "Afro Caucasoid" when in actuality that term is a misnomer. When the term is broken down literally it simply means " an African who looks likes a White man". Isn't that stupid?

The anthropological use of the term "Caucasoid" has more to do with 19th century cranio-metric measurements adopted by scientists and first introduced by the biased racist scientist Carltoon Coon, who coined terms such as Capoid, Congoid, Aethipoid and the likes to decribed varying degrees of differences in African phenotypes.

You are simply perpetuating this ideology and have no original thought of your own, neither can you reach beyond what you have been indoctrinated into.

You are indeed slow my dear
