all4naija: So, you supported that video to be black magic? Jeez! Africans are getting more ignorant than I thought. There is a medical condition for that. It is not only in Africa it exist. It has happened in numbers of countries around the world.

Something of that nature occurs most in animals like dogs. In human it is called 'Penis captivus' and in woman 'Vaginismus'.

Forget about pen!s captivus and vaginismus...even despite they are reported as an extremely rare case.....solution is only by precise surgery....I received that video from one of them atheists I discuss the same day that incident occured...claiming the whole thing was premeditated....haba!......in that video no surgery was performed to free them.

What skeptics and atheists like James Randi doesn't realise is that so far the human body can be susceptible to any types of alterations no matter how impossible it is....either confirmed by science or not.....there has been and will always be a 'juju' to do it. This I know from my personal researches of oyinbo science and basis of Yoruba juju. Vaginismus is extremely rare yet possible....okay no wahala.....there are variois types of juju called ma-gun(don't penetrate) that will activate the clamping of the vagina(Vaginismus) to hold the pen!s (pen!s captivus) to show evidence of adultery.....Christian marriage can't give you such security.

I GUESS VERY FEW PEOPLE WILL HAVE THE COURAGE OR KNOWLEDGE TO ACTUALLY ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:
If juju is real and has been used by nigerian people for all manner of things, how come the white man walked all over us - destroying shrines, burning homes, killing men, pillaging our land? How come they crushed our armies, conquered our empires, deposed kings and obas (who were supposed to have strong juju priests around them)
Let's start with logical reasoning before we go to personal experience which may be faulty. How come we were not the ones conquering the white men and they speaking our language? And nobody please talk about 'oyibo juju' please or equate scientific feats like the mobile phone or aeroplanes with 'juju' because that'd be simply too dumb...I have read something like that somewhere.
I have seen a lot of bizarre magic tricks, bizarre indeed - like a showman plucking ideas out of people's minds without them giving any indication, levitating, walking on water, changing water into wine, swallowing swords but they've never claimed the power of the supernatural. These were tricks. I will be investigating myself into juju some more but I wonder, logically, how come our juju never worked when we needed it. Re: Things Fall Apart - where was Agbala, Idemili, Amadioha, Ojukwu when the white man came and forced their people to a new religion? I'd like someone to answer that please

@comnsense,u av a point. So also does every other fellow. As a matter of fact everyone has their opinion. Before u embark on ur quest, I just want u to know that some arguments are better of when discuss. Every man for himselve. When one delve into the unknown one would come across things that are not palatable but then it will be too late to pull back.Things do happen.Only those who encounter it know the story.better still why note do a research about those who were lucky enough to come out Alive, that's if u can get one. Y am I even telling not to do so. I wish u good luck.
Re: Is Black Magic Real Or Just Made Up To Scare People? by comnsense: 1:49am On Jul 23, 2012
Thanks Frikuenci. I will just say this to everyone; I don't believe in juju or religion.
Let me give you proof that God or deities or juju ore the supernatural does not exist. This is a short lesson in logic. I hope you can follow me. Logic consists in building undeniable premises from a general one; as long as they all add up, the truth is reached. Eg. Man is mortal - this is a general undeniable premise. I am a man, therefore I am mortal. These two statements add up; if I am a man, I know incontrovertibly that I am mortal. If anyone comes to tell me that they know or have seen an immortal man, I can say confidently that that was either not a man or they got their facts wrong. This is checking facts with logic.
Juju and all religions depend on the existence of the supernatural to be real. If we can logically show that the supernatural cannot exist, then juju and religions are also false. So, lets begin. To be supernatural, it has to be above the material universe, so it has to be immaterial. Matter is anything that has weight and occupies space, so, the immaterial or supernatural has no weight and doesn't occupy space - it is everywhere and nowhere at once. Therefore, it cannot be a multiple; it can only be one since occupying space is what makes matter countable and separate. This bands all claimed supernatural powers into one entity. Now this entity cannot have all the qualities of perfection, omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence as ascribed to God. Proof? Because they are contradictory - to be all knowing, God has to know the future, therefore, he can't change his mind (or the future he first knew would be false), therefore God is not omnipotent and not perfect. God is then limited and cannot have fullness of existence (having no beginning) as one needs limitlessness for that. If God had a beginning, then he may or may not be the cause of matter. So the supernatural as shown earlier is not perfect or the God of christianity. But we've ascertained that the supernatural had a beginning; that beginning had to have been from something else other than the supernatural and certainly not matter that we don't know about. If it is not matter, it is a further immaterial or supernatural entity. But we showed early on that the supernatural can only be one entity - so this fatally contradicts and cancels out the fact that the supernatural had a beginning as equally shown! So, the supernatural cannot exist. If you didn't follow, let me know and I will try to break it down some more. Hear O Nigeria, your God or gods or juju do not exist. Case closed! Any individual experience you have is either SIMPLY lacking in explanation at present or the action of your mind (and the mind is a fragile, powerful thing).

I have only just returned from Nigeria; while I was there, I became acquainted with some of the issues that are being debated at the heights of government. One of these issues was the push by Cameron and the US for Nigeria to legalise or support Gay unions. Anyway, this has not been received well by many, if not a majority of the Nigerian people and I had a quite interesting discussion about this with my brother in law. Somewhere in our conversation, he veered into the God/Bible issue which is quite difficult to argue against without bringing in Evolution, so I did. The interesting thing is that - and I have mentioned this in a previous article - evolution is still not properly taught in our schools, if at all. www.thenigeriangod..co.uk

Never used it, I know a few people who do and I'm not friends with them cos they are not good people. But I've been a victim of black magic, lost family members n friends to black magic, so I hate black magic as well as people who use them.

Yes, to take lives, make themselves wealthy at the expense of peoples health/life, mind control of some unsuspecting victim, some claim they use it for protection and among other things. Black magic is bad. I guess that's why its called "Black" ...I'm a Christian, I strongly believe in Jesus and him alone has protected me from the evil man's black magic.

No so. While Christians do not believe in Juju neither so scientists or indeed anyone with a proper education.

Education is the key. When Nigeria has an education system as good as the developed world (while WILL happen and the sooner the better) this silly belief in Juju will die out!

I referred to a silly belief in it but you are still correct as it is a silly to believe in superstitious rubbish like magic, juju, mami waters etc.

Don't know about the other stuff (is it Yoruba?).

Anyway the sooner Nigerian dumps these primitive ideas the sooner the rest of the world will take you seriously.

You mean the remaining part of the world that don't believe in superstitions? Which part of the world exactly is that? Dude, charms and all are beliefs that exist throughout out the world.

Sigh! Only from the ignorant and superstitious! Please see how far your juju and mami waters help you in the world!

I see Nigerians apply for jobs they seem well qualified for but when people learn they believe such rubbish we know they must have forged any certificates or obtained them from a disreputable institute and then they do not get the job. How could anyone primitive, uneducated or savage enough to believe this juju rubbish be trusted with anything even remotely important?

This is the last time I will quote u, sir. I honestly tried to reason with you you but you are one of those people that see fault in anything an African does but see the acts of whites as perfect. Superstition is everywhere, every f*cling where. Even religion, every tribe even the whites you are licking their butts, have their own superstition. The mami water is to us what the slenderman is to them, bushbaby is same as what yeti is to them. The facts that they have money to waste on finding none existent animals, classifying them with a fancy name "cryptic animals" does not make them any less fictitious. So b4 you pour way your traditional in the name of civilization, do your research to see if the culture you are about to adopt doesn't have the same fault

This is NOT an issue of culture but of ignorance and superstition of people lacking enough education to realise that these stupid superstitions are not and (as any rational person could see) could not be true.

By the way very few whites believe in Yeti!

As for the Irish (I am an Irishman) and leprechauns etc we know that they are all nonsense (unless of course we are talking to an American tourist cheesy!)

Does not the name KoloOyinbo give you a clue that I do not need to bleach? And I do not hate my culture which is pure Celtic culture.

I have to go back on my words ryt now to quote you. I didn't know you aren't black; as for your user name, I thought its something you just formed. I know a few things about the Celtic culture ( I think I do) and I have to wonder y u are against your culture? There are a few mythical creatures drummed up for whatever reason only our ancestors ( you and me both) know but you generally can't undermine the potency of some rituals. I was both into a strongly traditional family and I must tell you that I've seen lots of things such that no scientific proof can change my mind on the existence of charms

Ko si wahall on not knowing my origins. I am NOT against my culture. In fact I am very proud of it. All cultures change and evolve and the stupid superstitions of my culture (leprechauns, banshees, morrigans etc) are now looked on fondly as historical folklore. In any case Culture is about so MUCH MORE than dumb superstition.

As for charms and seeing unbelievable things it simply means we have missed what really happens. The funny thing is that thousands of years these thing can never be reproduced in the laboratory!

It is because they try to do science without factoring the beginning which is magic. As Tesla said "If science can be merged with magic, mankind will marvel at the discoveries that ll ensue". But now, everyone is claiming to be too "educated" for it

The only problem with what you say is that Magic is rubbish and does NOT exist. The beginning was SCIENCE. It has remained SCIENCE not magic! Surely any educated person knows this. In Europe children stop believing in Magic long before the leave primary school.

Otherwise we get idiots who would prefer to believe that people can be bullet proof rather than realise the slowpoke firing at them simply missed! Which is more likely?

Science started when some people (alchemists) started a search for a magical substance that turns lead to gold. Science (chemistry) didn't start because some people had too much time on their hands, they were searching for something magical. If that doesn't mean science has its origin in magic, I don't know what ll.

Charms exist, bro. Like I said earlier, I'm from a very traditional family and I've seen such things at my very young age that ll "bullet-resistant" people feel as normal as breathing. But just like it is the case in Christianity and other religions that believe in miracles, you have to see one to truly believe in the existence and potency of miracles. The problem now is not the illogicality of believing in charms, its the society that we live in. It stems mainly from the period of The Crusade when The Church went on a "burning" spree of believers and practitioners of magic. Some were unlucky while the rest tried so hard to survive that they turned their backs on what they've seen. This was passed on to generations after them for so long, it became the truth and magicwas relegated to the background, twas forgotten. To make matters worse, it is believed in psychological circles that if man hears something repeatedly, it becomes the truth to him, no matter how false it is. We've deluded ourselves for so long, we no longer know the truth
