Jaybee if it was GEJ the first thing you would do is shout he is corrupt, he is clueless. You never give him the benefit of doubt like you do to you pseudo agents of change. etc ... here you are rushing to make excuses for clear case of corruption and gross mis-management of funds.

I've never criticised for the fun of it bro.
Do you have evidence to back up your claim?

We also have an ongoing crossrail project in the uk (118km costing about 16 billion pounds).

You can't just compare cost per kilometre since the factors considered when costing and components aren't the same.

You should know this bro!

Mathewbriggs is right, we hardly give the President any benefit of doubt, in yorubaland, if you insult elders, you will surely pay for it, it is unfortunate that young Nigerians have chose to insult the president. Criticise him constructively, the President can not be all bad, most of you are not driven by fact, the Media is bastardized already, they don't see any iota of good in the president, I enjoy the youth to have a Re-think, you must not vote for GEJ, but respect is to be reciprocated, some of the things you join multitude todo today may come back to bite you in no distant future.

On the matter raised by MathewBriggs, Are you sure the Standard gauge train line constructed from Kaduna to Abuja is same constructed and commissioned in Addiss Ababa?

I am simply stating that one common trait shared by most APC supporters is hypocrisy . They crucify GEJ for the same offences their masters commit with impunity.

Leme ask you a simple questions if the tables were turned would you start ... speaking all this turenchi you are spewing about Cost per kilometer etc.

Yes i would.
I've commended GEJ's effort on restructuring the public sector by streamlining the workforce and getting rid of duplication which in time should increase efficiency and reduce waste.
This action is even more necessary in this tough economic times.
He is doing what a responsible government should do.

My issue with GEJ is simply the "In your face" corruption.

Which do you prefer? The man who you can see his corruption... or the man who on the surfaces tells you he is a saint but deep down is even far more corrupt.

No I ain't talking about commending. I am talking about giving a benefit of doubt, or rushing to defend his actions like you do to your pseudo change agents.

Matthew, GEJ's body language in dealing with corruption is a very big deal. All the people you are referring to should face the wrath of the law if there is evidence to convict them.

Oga Jona is our leader and his inactions as far as corruption is concerned will obviously have massive consequences in the long run

Who are the thieves? Who are the looters? Who are we suppose to sweep out of office?

Bro, let's leave the other rail projects and focus on this Amaechi's light rain. Why am so pained is that this train is a 4km train, that will cost you 50 NAIRA to and fro. Rail starts from Isaac Boro Park (Mile One) and ends at Lagos. Yet its taking almost 6 years to build with an UNKNOWN completion date.

FOUR (44444) Kilometre of rail line?

Who indeed are the thieves?

Yet someone like jaybee3 and obiageli will swoon here to ask 'why is GEJ corrupt'? I tell you this, the wave of change that will blow off your skirts is doing press-up!

Do you know that the Amaechi and Fashola light rail are at an elevated altitude therefore propped by pillars which will undoubtedly increase it's cost?
Have you considered other logistics?

compensation? Shipping of materials? lands? etal?

How can you calculate based on KM only? Not saying that the project wasn't over-bloated though
