What are you even doing on the internet sef, you better go rub some cow dung on your head and do some primitive traditional dance while at it. You dunce.
If it was not for the British, you would be praying to Allah today and who knows even speaking Hausa or Fulfulde as main language. So one can understand you equate non english speakers in Northern Nigeria to illiterate, you must love the Brits. Wait, cant they learn Math, history, geography in Arabic or even Hausa?

This is well known to me. It is one thing for a language to have wide usage. it is another thing for that language to have official status. Wolof doesn't have official status in Senegal...yet. Their constitution still lists French as the official tongue, and Wolof as a majority language.

In Dece 2014 the Senegalese government made provision for wolof, Pulaar, serer, etc... To be spoken in the national assembly.

Indeed. The French did a 'good work' of 'frenchifying' the mentality of their African colonials. Even Senghor with all his 'negritude' stuff couldn't shrug off his 'Frenchness'.

But I also wonder at British ex-colonies like Ghana where one language (akan) is the native language of more than half of the population. One would expect them to at least have an arrangement where Akan has official status alongside English.

Lol, it's actually very true

It's funny because his name "django/jango" means tomorrow in the Fulani language.

Lmao, it does. Or he could have chosen the slave name Django, as in Django Unchained.

Yah I think that's why he chose it. But you did see what I said about him earlier, he's my personal Maccudo, he will be fattening up my cattle from now on whilst i focus on my I.T. work.

Fulaman198, last night I had a dream. That I was in a Bantu village. For some reason you were in the village too. All the Bantus came to you as you were the village witch doctor. You told all the women that all their conditions would be cured if you licked and kissed their feet.

Then I woke up, as I went to the village doctor sick, and you diagnosed me with some made up disease and started to kiss my feet. embarassed

This last part would never happen as I am not a homosexual, so no need to worry. I know sometimes you fantasize about me, but it's quite disturbing thinking about how another man thinks about you. If this were a woman telling me this I would be quite happy.

Well how do you figure?
Just because English is not the lingua franca of the North, or just because they would rather speak Hausa or Fulfulde does not mean they do not speak English.

What is the truth in the jargons he wrote? I am a Yoruba and I speak both languages fluently does that mean I have "inferiority complex and bow down to the Brits" as fulaman198 says?

It is an insult to suggest that those illiterates in north east are better than the rest of us because they can't speak English.
It is true that speaking English doesn't necessarily mean you have inferiority complex, but in the end it doesn't matter because the fact that Nigeria chose English as its official language while we literally have 600 indigenous ones to choose from is a disgrace to every single Nigerian citizen dead or alive. English is merely the living proof of a terrible decision.

Nigeria is a multi ethnic nation, with competing ethnic groups that can hardly decide on anything without ethnic bigotry and you expect them to surrender their languages and effectively their cultures to another competing group because you don't like the English men? Please be serious.

Give me one example of a multi cultural nation like Nigeria that has chosen one of its equally dominant languages over others, just one please.

We dont know what you are capable of. I only regret that I cannot get rid of that dream replying in my head. Fula ultimately you will graduate from kissing the feet of women and go on to men. Dreams do not lie my young skinny Nomad.

You are stating the impossible/improbable. No such thing as a homosexual Fulani man

There is no gayness when a man is trying to attract a woman (someone of the opposite sexe), there is gayness though when a man like you has a dream about another man (me).

Why not let simply each ethnic group to promote their language if they want along side English? Thats possible.

Only in your wildest dreams am I gay (oh pun intended). We all know who the homosexual one is Ajuran. That dream almost made me throw up, I'm still trying to learn how to be accepting towards homosexuals. I'm not the one talking about fantasizing about men now am I? That's you bro, I think you are putting your own fantasies on me and it's disgusting. I think in reality it is you coming out of the closet with your confession of that dream.
