From all indications I don't think fresh invites are going to sent out again.as regard the second message if some people got and the initial one they didn't get then pcl has bad organization as regards the planning of this interview. But its all good congratulations to those who got

Guys, I hail and pray that all succeed. My friend is in a dilemma. He passed the test and is gunning for the interview. He is a lecturer in a Federal Polytechnic. He is afraid if he mentions it on his CV or during the interview it might affect his chances considering the fact that NNPC is another federal establishment and might not want to employ somebody from another federal establishment. House pls advise should he go ahead and add it as part of his work experience or leave it out?
Re: NNPC Aptitude Test On December 6, 2014 by snazzyjay(m): 9:25pm On Feb 26, 2015
He shouldn't go for the interview. Just continue with his lecturing job since both are federal establishment and pays the same and he will be open to more prospects from the lecturing job.

Broe...Tell your friend to take the advice of the kind gentleman above me....for the following reasons.....
1. It saves the panelist the stress of interviewing one less candidtate
2. It reduces the competition to other prospective candidate
3. It saves our dear country cost of the transport stipend that would have been paid to him
4. .......

Hi Guys!
I really do not want to be a bearer of bad news but from a very very reliable source( a friend currently working at PCL), people who received the messages are the successful ones.
There is nothing like sms been sent in batches and the ones yet to receive are most likely the unsuccessful ones.
Also, the highest level of nepotism was involved in the selection process according to him.

As a PCL customer care executive , Erin, said (I called ,'01-2703667' yesterday), dey will be sending invites in batches till March 12(lwtmb - d generic reponse to all intending applicants).

So guys, if you know anyone in nnpc, now is the time to re-awaken the nnpc networks as anythn is still possible between now and March 12, God willing.

*my humble contribution.......

If anything I refuse to believe the part of nepotism being a factor in the selection process for the SMS invites sent. I know at least 4 people that got invites that do not even know a policeman talk-less of being connected and they were successful. At least I am a testimony to that effect. I know people that are connected to the towers and are yet to get the invites. So to a large extent, the invites were largely based on merit though preferential treatments can't be completely eliminated.

All the same, NNPC is just another race.......let's all do our best!

I and all my friends who got the invite knew no one. The guy who sat beside me wrote the previous test done some years back and he confirmed to me that they were three friends working in a bank, they knew no one and the other two got the job, and resigned from the bank unfortunately , he did not. However, it doesn't rule out the fact that some favouritism could play a part for some people.

In light of the above, if you, (through your friend working in PCL) could get the level of Nepotism part wrong, of which i'm sure you did. Would we be wrong to not believe the rest of the post? undecided undecided

If you didn't receive either, you 99.9% didn't make it. That's my take, feel free to disregard.

1. Point one, is a given. Those who received the texts did make it.

2. There is nothing like texts in batches, I agree. Logic says if they didn't send it, any time post-18th, they probably won't send it 9 or 11 days after.

3. The one's yet to receive are most likely unsuccessful. I agree too.

4. Highest level of Nepotism is subjective. I disbelieve it, Unless the number of successful candidates far out -numbers the purported 1500 or so, that we heard. Some even said 4000.

5. They will be sending invites in batches for the Interview. I also agree. The 2011 thread supports this.

PS: If you didn't receive the initial text but you did, for the second one, then you are in good standing because they only sent the second text to successful candidates, whom they believe should have been waiting for the interview invitation.
