Well I don't know how transparent is NNPC recruitment process, but I doubt if nepotism will be involved at this stage. I didn't receive any of the text. Though, I currently worked with a MNC in Lagos, and earn twice the salary been speculated, this is my first time of failing a job aptitude test. Because I am from the north with the whole federal character (Quater system) noise I thought is going to be easier for me, but there is divine way to things like this. Allah know best, I didn't received the success mail cos I didn't meet the cut off mark, that's how I see it. Let move on

I dnt blame pple dat failed or dat did not get an sms. Pple dat failed or did not reach d cut off or did not get an sms will always complain and say nepotism is happening ,they will always say I hav neva failed a test, they will always hav an excuse for their mistake. It unfurtunate but PCL are not fools they picked the best scores ,if u can't be happy for ur pal dat made it I wonder who will be happy for u wen u make it in life,, get over ur self and pic ur self up and move on,, wish the other pple luck and God will remember u wen ur time coms. ,,if u get angry on those dat passed and angry at PCL u maybe fighting against Gods anointed and u will be burnt up,,life is Deep so put it in Gods hand.

We'll update you in due course. Pls bear with us"

Basing my conclusions on the 2nd SMS, I will say that I passed the test!!!

I went 2 DHL office 2look 4my leta but didnt see it, wch d later call 2com &collect on 8th. (They told me dat my leta was taken 2 Calaba). It was a friend d dat had reachd d exam centre dat call me 2come because he saw some pple wit just one text like my own. U pass dos nt mean u r d most intelligent Ok. I will advise u to go with all your certificates. The truth is whatever certificate u hv but do not indicate u do at the time of the interview, will not count anymore after u are employed. In other words, if u have an MSC but do not indicate u do for whatever reasons u may hv, after u hv been employed and for instance it is time for appraisal, that MSC will not be recognised unless u take formal permission to go run another MSC program. So tell them all abt ur advancement and God will help us. I am currently running my doctorate, if I do not indicate it now, it will never be useful to me in the future in NNPC cos they will say they never knew of it. Good luck guys

I disagree with you on the bolded.... Its a simple logic... The advert was on operator and graduate TRAINEE... not experience hire.. I believe criteria was clearly stated...

Sure, the fact that you didn't received a success mail/text doesn't mean you fail, it means other scores more than you do.i agree there might be other factors that makes you fail but you can't be certain of that. I pass NLNG first and second test, but fail NNPC test ,if you wrote the two exam you will know which is harder. Forget about this NNPC and stop the blame game. Let's move on bro better days ahead.

I like ur post. Passing d exam does not mean most intelligent. But all d same I congratulate d pple dat pass d exam. It is not easy!!! If u hav not recived success text dont give up hope because in my father book there is notin like impossiblity. In d eyes of men, it may look impossible but wit GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. I agree but if u actually re-read the advert of 2012, u will observe that they never said anyone with anything more than MSC should not apply. Rather, the only max limit they gave at that time was not more than 29yrs. Since 2012 till now, almost 3years, people have advanced. They will bear that in mind too. The employment wasn't immediate. Well, I hv given my view. Anyone else can add sth

You work for an MNC, why did you still consider NNPC?

Lol! If the salary is #200k as the speculate I earn twice that amount now and am not even working in O&G, guy shine ya eye, better company are out there. My attraction to NNPC is cos of Job security.
