I may have this as my first and last post on power cuz am changing career. That aside, am one of the apolitical young men who dwell on facts rather than propaganda. This actually promoted this write-up. Currently am in Egbema working as an site engineer so I must confess our youths, especially youths from Abacheke, Mmahu, Obiakpu in fact the youths in Egbema have misplaced priority. These guys are busy terrorizing my life while they let go of the bigger picture; seeing that the combined cycle plant, first developmental project comes alive in their time. Right before them this project is ridiculed with high level bureaucracy and corruption.

Few facts;
No source of gas from the three original producers; ADDAX, SHELL, NPDC.
Turbine at the current state will take two yrs to come online if the contractor stops playing........ Watch the drama in the pictures. The buildings here are painted on the outside while the inner part tells a different story. Same thing in the turbine also, shell no juice. So I await your questions and pls someone should tell these youths to go after this game changer.

It's been running since 2006. Milestone achieved on paper is different from what is on ground. Happy now? Those rooms are designated completed, am trying to wrap my head around the new definition of COMPLETED.

. Commissioned in 2006 by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Yaradua took over till Feb 2010 when Jonathan stepped in. In otherwords, it was neither built nor commissioned by Jonathan. However, the Government of Jonathan is concerned that is why they sent YOU/your company to work on it.

The Youths of Rivers State(my dear people) need to stand up to looters-in-power at the state level. Sadly, politics of cultism means blood will be shed. The best we can do is to encourage people of credibility to seek elective and appointive offices. We shall be great!

I know that plant and it's much bigger than what you portray

Gas supply has been the sole problem of all power plant

Why are youths of the host community after you?

What do you mean by 'game changers'?

the egbema youths and their ikwerre counter part are just a bunch of something else. you barely find them in Nigerian universities outside of rivers state so they don't know whats obtainable outside their shores.

even in rivers state higher institutions only a few are outstanding in their classes. they are also very hostile and quick to anger. only a few are not involved in cultism

don't blame them much, their leaders are doing to them what the northern leaders are doing to the northern youths. impoverish them so they can respond to your call anytime and day.

is this a state or federal govt project

Oh now, you bring the puerile argument again in 2015 - Don't vote PDP, vote Jonathan, when he has been an obvious baggage of disappointment.

Yea the administration wants it completed true, but the local encumberance in the name of slots and misplaced priorities. Imagine if these guys were pushing for training through the local content law, imagine if they allow work to run smoothly and see that the promises made to them gets fulfilled. I didn't open this thread for accusations, I did cuz I wanted to call some people to order. Why will someone go ahead to paint an uncompleted building? Why will someone stall installations for suit at home chances. The on air giggle is that this station is completed, fact is its no where near that especially with the pace of work from the contractor. Ohaji/Egbema youths should vote wisely cuz they need good representation to coerce some quarters to get this job completed.

Majority of the major players in PDP between 1999 and 2010 are the promoters and movers of APC, including the President and Vice of 1999-07, the 3 Former PDP National Chairmen, National PDP Secretaries etc. Abeg no even go there!!! Meanwhile, Sen Danjuma Goje was the Minister of state for Power during Obj's first term, he's now an APC strongman. We should ask him to explain about this Egbema power issue.

The 'game changer' in my write up is actually the POWER PLANT. Economic activities and development rely on this project. You need to see what I pass through to get a cold bottle of Heineken here. IMO STATE.

Oh please. Atiku and Obj were in PDP until 2013. Did they have a hand in running government? Was Danjuma Goje the minister of power under GEJ as he was still in PDP when GEJ took office! Or does Bode George dictate the current affairs of the presidency? The fact they are in APC doesn't mean the corruption of 2011 - 2015 will repeat itself in an APC government!

Hahahahahahaha, the most sensible question in this thread. The answer is NO. I boasted to them to produce a project engineer my calibre, most of them are hard-working I must commend. They need empowerment in training not in suit at home slots or marching ground fee. Throughout the Niger Delta area you hardly carry out a job without community issues, is it same up north?

Goje never served under GEJ in any capacity. Berth Nnaji was the first Power Minister under GEJ before he resigned to pave way for Chinedu Nebo. Bode George never looted under GEJ, his looting was under Obj administration as NPA Chairman. He has done his time and I don't see how that affects the topic. By trying to absolve Obj and Atiku and blame all their sins on GEJ led PDPD rather than the people and their political party(Present), it shows the "change" you preach. Nigerians are not foolss

There are two kinds of people in Nigeria today, those who want
CHANGE and those who want CONTINUITY. If you want
change you are safe, if you want continuity there are two things
involved, is either you reside in LAGOS or you are in PDP. If
you are in lagos you are safe, if you are in PDP there are two
things involved, is either you are Jonathan's family or you are
naturally corrupt. If you are Jonathan's family you are safe cox u r
going back to Otuoke but if you are naturally corrupt, there are two
things involved, is either you leave this country before March 28 or
you remain. If you leave this country you are save but if you
remain, there is ONLY one thing involved, YOU ROT IN JAIL!
