THE INDICTED "Transformers" ABDULRASHEED MAINA Fmr Head of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms. Appointed by Jonathan. His job was to unearth and prosecute those that dipped their hands into Police Pension Fund. In twist of event, Maina was alleged to have participated in N195 billion pension fraud. He was indicted by the Senate, recommended for sack and Prosecution but Jonathan dragged and only sacked him two months later. As at today, Maina hasn't been convicted. PRINCESS STELLA ODUA Former Minister of Aviation that was alleged to have allocated N255 million for the purchase of 2 BMW Cars without appropriation in what was the biggest corruption scandal in Jonathan's cabinet. She was indicted by the Senate and the Presidential Committee setup to investigate her. After a while, she was relieved of her Job and walks as a free woman. NO PROSECUTION by any of the concerned Agencies. FEMI FANI KAYODE Fmr Aviation Minister, whose trial on alleged looting of N250m was instituted by the Yar Adua Government and pursued. He was "cleared" of wrong doing few months after he defected to PDP (Jonathan's Camp) MOHAMMED ABACHA Son of Late Maximum Ruler Sani Abacha. Abacha's family looted the treasury without mercy. Millions of Dollars was recovered and more unearthed. Mohammed was facing corruption charges instituted by the Obasanjo regime, however, Our BENEVOLENT President withdrew the charges from the court. Mohammed is a chieftain of the PDP and a Governorship Aspirant under the PDP. THE EXCONVICT "Transformers" : 1) Chief Bode George: The one-time deputy national chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, South West zone was charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ,EFCC, for inflation of contracts to the tune of N84 billion with five other board members. Bode George was convicted by Justice Olubunmi Oyewole of the Lagos High Court. alongside four other former board members of the NPA to two years each on a seven-count charge and another six months each on a 28-count charge. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2009/11/bode-george2years-jail-term-scandalous-for-offence-committed/ *This same Bode George is Jimi Agbaje's father* 2) DSP Alamieyeseigha: Diepreye Solomon Peters Alamieyeseigha who was under EFCC custody for close to two years pleaded guilty to charges of corruption and money laundering brought against him by the EFCC. A judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Mohammed Shuaibu sentenced the former governor to 2-years in prison. http://saharareporters.com/2007/07/25/dsp-alamieyeseigha-pleads-guilty-jailed-2-years 3) James Ibori He was convicted for 13 years by a London court http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-17739388 All the Above listed are allies of the President and has endorsed his 2nd Term bid Th President's body language does not show he is serious in his claim of fighting corruption - Aminu Tambuwal. (Before joining the APC) I will like to end this with this quote by the amiable general: "Shall we live in a nation where the ranks of the poor swell and their poverty increase while the consorts of the powerful enjoy unprecedented wealth?"-GMB *Modified* MR ABBA MORO He collected =N=1,000 each from 30 million innocent youths, in which 16 among them died What did our president do to him? Nothing. Is it not funny to see that 6weeks to election; this youths have been called back to come and die again. 3 Likes

barcanista:None of the above people you mentioned has ever been convicted of being criminals in the court of law...it's better to be with those who are merely assumed to be criminals rather than be with the ORIGINAL exConvicts. Though I will agree with you that Alison and others have not yet been convicted. BUT their judgement is near. GMB will put them in crates 7 Likes |

betacitizen:IF we are to go by your logic, Maina, Oduah and others have not been convicted. Alamesiegha has been pardoned by the State(Council of State), and Bode George had his conviction overturned by a competent court-Supreme Court. Ibori has never been a Jonathan ally and he hasn't ever declared for Jonathan. If he was in Nigeria today, he will most likely be a broom agent. Hence, you have no case against those people(going by your own marking scheme). However, if you want to talk as a patriot(which I expected), you will purge your own house before talking cheaply of Jonathan. 2 Likes |

change9ja:Going by your own logic as bolded, it means both GEJ and GMB rolls with the bad, the good and the ugly. Hence, both are "guilty" of the same offence that you try to hypocritically hinge on Jonathan alone. The difference is that one(APC/GMB) is Hypocritical by accusing the other of rolling with the Bad and Ugly, and claiming that he(APC/GMB) is filled with angels and Saints. The other(PDP/GEJ) is working hard to deliver on his promises by getting things fixed. #NeverAgain Shall we be deceived by hypocrites. Sai GEJ 2 Likes |

barcanista:James Onanefe Ibori (born 4 August 1959) was the Governor of Delta State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. He is a member of the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP). That means on his arrival; he would be welcome by the PDP just like they welcome Bode George and co. Being pardoned does not remove their names from the black book of exConvicts 5 Likes

betacitizen:Atiku, Saraki, Obj, Amaechi, Kwankwaso, Goke etc were PDP too during Ibori era. I don't know the logic behind your argument, but lemme inform you that Ibori was NEVER a GEj ally. He worked against GEJ's emergence aas acting President and fled to Dubai when GEJ was poised to prosecute him. He was arrested in Dubai and repatriated to UK. I don't understand you guys... As for Alamesiegha, go look the meaning of State Pardon. It means "your sins are forgiven, Go and Sin No More". No more "exconvict for Alams"... Sorry 1 Like |

This Country we are d one doing Ourselves. How would a government solve the issue of Stealing of Public Funds with Technology without Consequence. Eg I install a robot to secure my house from thieves (very good measure) when the robot catches a thief I let d thief go, Please who is deceiving who... If that thieves doesn't face the law to sound warning to others then am doing nothing. If We don't starting jailing this Thieves Stealing our Public Funds we would end up creating more thieves |

barcanista:This just substantiate the fact that GEJ's type of presidential pardon is "pardon only those who support me". Going by your logic; Alams was indirectly pardoned because he supports GEJ's ambition; but James Ibori has been allowed to rot in jail because he didn't supoort GEJ's ambiton. There is God oooooo By logical reasoning, if you own a company can you employ someone with CRIMINAL RECORD even though hehas been pardoned? |

change9ja:France granted state pardon to a convicted Ñigerian Etete. Nigeria granted State pardon to the respected Chief Awolowo(he was convicted for treason). Obasanjo was also granted State Pardon, same with Odumegwu Ojukwu, Shehu Yaradua and endless. Even in America, controversial figures got State pardon. Stop sounding like it Started and ended with Alams. By the way: Pardon is for sinners and not for the righteous. The most important is that the pardoned official do not go back to his disgraceful way. 1 Like |

betacitizen:When a convicted fellow serves his time and got through rounds of humiliation, he got himself pÀrdoned by the authority and decides to be a good citizen, no sane organisation will say they will reject him based on the crime he has paid darely for. It doesn't happen in any sane country. Except he is found not to be productive. Are you aware that the immediate past President of Uruguay was a convict? Even in our laws, a convicted fellow can aspire to any office 10years after serving his term. As for Ibori, I just proved your false claim that Ibori is/was a GEJ's ally. 1 Like |

barcanista:It is obvious that this type of GEJ's pardon is a politicised one, that is why no "sane" organisation will emlpoy a politicised "pardonee" . If you are a leader of a political party; can you present Alams as a flag bearer under any circumstances? I know you won't dare it. If you visit a prison and take a look at the list of former prisoners; his name will still be there, but at the front of his name, it would be written "pardoned".So once a convict; is a convict FOREVER! |
