why can't u download apps in the stored also u may need WiFi for those large games..., I use etisalat data share subscription on my dual SIM ...but I think The mtn 4.5gb is also great

my advice is if u have a Pc try to download nokia software updated for retail on ur pc....u can recover the os and all stuffs when ur phone begins to act up but i believe u will hardly face any challenge now cos the phone is pretty awesome

left to open up the menu. Then
tap on Install Local Apps

Download the games & apps manually from
windows store,
put it in SD cards's root directory (Directly in
SD card without creating any folder)
restart ur phone
enable ur data connection wait for some time (3-4 minutes)
go in STORE->SD card
install apps.

locking phone on 3G has lil importance and yes u can lock to 3G.....dude think before u post crap

The screen guard eliminates fingerprint marks on the phones screen, making it look neater.

I was asking because my Lumia is always trapped to 2G even in abundance of 3G, and I saw someone post that the 3G lock feature wasn't working on his 535 after an update.
That is why I asked from you a the most active person using a 535 here. (anyways the feature isn't present in older Lumias if you must know)

On older Lumia devices, you can't except you are in an area with great 3G service.
I don't know of the recent ones like the the 535 etc.

i wonder what u were thinking.....am sure u understand that some people who have prob with their phone do read comments and also i havent really lock my phone at 3G cos the 3G network in my area is very strong

But know this that when more and more people begin to use Windows phone like Android is being used, more and more developers will begin to write all these apps you have on Android for for Windows too.

Would you blame them for not wasting their resources to code to a platform that has less than 3% marketshare(Windows phone devices) as compared to the ones that has more than 80% marketshare (Android devices)

No blame at all. My thinking is that since the apps are already available on traditional windows OS, they could be recompiled to run on windows mobile OS. They are free!

Hmmm. But millions of android users will disagree with you. I know every platform will have their fan base, but Windows is disliked by most smartphone users and Android is well beloved among most users. You don't need to believe me. Just Google and do some fact finding.

Edit: Maybe if I'd spend more time with Windows phone, my perception might change. Just saying.

I am an android fan as well as windows. Both devices are cool.
My question is, what do you want in a phone? Sincerely answering this question will help you in making you choices of platform. Windows is 'new' and still building it's fan base. In the near future, more developers will write apps for windows that will give you legacy control over your phone just like rooting on android does.
My instinct tells me that most Nigerians who are complaining are doing so because they can't tweak the phone yet to their choosing like they do on android. Soon all that will be possible on windows phone. Be patient.
