Apply as a Family.
Wife and kids together

@Fredricko I applied when I was like 1 year on the job, was a banker then. Unmarried.zero travel experience. Abuja. Said I wanted to accompany my mum who was going for a conference. Abuja. Turning point question was 'Why haven't you travelled before with your mom?' To which I replied that I couldn't afford it then. Was bounced without much ado in less than 1 minute. I vex die. Write them letter of protest.
Applied to UK-bounced. My fault. I paid in one weird sum of money just befoe
Applied to canada- worse bouncing. Said my salary and work experience wasn't enoff to keep me from running away.
Tried UK again- bounced
Chaie!
I vex go ghana. Then reapplied to UK. Got it. Went. Came back. Got married. Renewed with hubby.
Went back to US. Lagos this time.Wore a simple knee lenght black gown to show I wasn't pregnant. The turning point question was y aren't you travelling with hubby. I said cos we just came back from the UK and he can't take time off work now. The VO's body language changed after that. He said ohhhh u have travelled before. I said Yes, a coupla times. He asked if I was pregnant 2ice to which I said no. I was nonchalant about the whole thing whilst looking him in the eyes. He said pick up your visa in 2 days. I said thanks and left.
The beauty of all the rejections was that I perfected the art of writing explanatory letters to the UK. Lol

Is it advisable for my wife to apply alone so that me and her can travel together and leave our 2 kids in Nigeria as a tie, or visa can be granted to my kids also if they all apply together. Remember I already have a valid visa and have travelled once to the US for a similar wedding 6 months ago.

. Thanks, the issue is, she has appeared at the embassy before which she did not indicate in her new application, she was shown her picture, finger print, date of birth she used then and the name she used then, but she as been given a waiver form and have been made clear that it does not affect my sibling and I, we can mail them to further process the other cases if we like or wait for her. My question now is how along does the waiver issue takes, and will she have to apply for another application or this present case will be issued the Visa?

Isn't the real question Why did she use a different name and date of birth in the past? -- which is related to How are we supposed to know who she actually is? and also So she now admits she was here before? That's interesting.

This is serious issues, bio-metrics technology has streamlined visa applications and also help to check mate fraud , if not some peeps will keep changing names, passport data to beat the system, it does pay to be honest and sincere in visa applications because it can come back to hunt us in future.... angry

. Please ma, don't get it twisted, I have just stated the reasons she was denied ma, that shows acceptance on the part of the family, though I did not know what she said at the Embassy, all I seek is the way out and how long does it take to be waived, your kind gesture all these while is always appreciated ma, please kindly advice us on what to do.

It's a recommendation bro. A married man with kids going on vacation and tourism alone? How does that sound in ur ears? Well it's a recommendation k? If you have a better one, pls spill and don't go watering down mine k?
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 4:07am On Mar 08, 2015
The visa officer is the only one that can answer your question specifically and appearing in the same embassy with 2 different identities at different times even leads to a ban in most embassies, that must have been the reason for the revocation of the visa if i'm not mistaken or if I am not getting your question well kindly state the specifics, LadyGuinivere over to you

Lol. Ist of all, I go give caveat this is the ist time I heard about the waiver form so I did some look sees/research
Ist, her matter is a migration matter
2nd, her questions have been answered indept by the other thread (VO)
However to advice u from a legal point of view. Your step mom lied in her application. All of you guys aPplied as a family. It is assumed that you guys colluded, hence the all round denial.
However, because assumptions are not fool proof or without a shadow of doubt, you have been given a chance to defend your self , that is the Application for a waiver of Ground of inadmissibility form 160-1. As the name implies, you would have been admissible but for a ground that disqualified you- In this case, your step mom's deceit.
You have to present your case and sHow why the grounds of inaddmissibility should be waived. Only the VO has the final say and all you have to do is wait and pray whilst your step mum sorts her own gbese. (Classic Definition of pouring sand sand into another person garri! Lol)

NB: I find Your tone (telling the VO 'don't get it twisted) quite rude. This is a person who has given u advice and you are still asking for more. If I were him/her I wouldn't answer you. Tone it down and be humble on a public forum. You are not 'entitled' to help.

How old are your kids?
When did you travel previously to the States?
Do you still have your parents and or in-laws alive?
Has you wife got any travel experience?

The first thing you need to do is overcome your fear.
And there is always a first time to travel.
You only have to have a cogent reason for travel and you must be tactful and assertive during your interview.
Do not forget to look the CO boldly in the eyes.

I can tell you emphatically that I know a person who was given a US visa as a single, no travel experience, and told them he earns 25K salary per month.
so don't let anyone negative comment stop u.

Single and No travel history is not good. Reduces your chances for a visa. My advise is don't be discouraged if you don't get it on those grounds. And be thankful if you get it.

All the same, its worth attempting.

Keep your kids with either your in-laws or your parents.
Apply with your wife.
Get ready for the CO, as most of the questions will be directed at your wife.
Have a good reason why she is going with you this time.
Dont worry about the kids, they are in good hands i should believe.

Well I have obtained visa from a few visa issuing countries for vacation without my wife and 2 kids.
Also, I remember applying once as a family going on vacation and we were all refused.

If one member of a family unit gets a USA visit visa, it boosts the chances of every other person in that family unit getting it. Don't be afraid, let them apply together. Just make sure they take along your USA visa page showing the CBSA admitted stamp.

Confidence is key. So you might want to tutor your wife on likely questions she will be asked.

Thanks so much for your correction, but to be frank, I have not insulted or disrespect her in any form, if you have the time, go to her page and see how have always appreciated her and I still do till now, in short I never meant to be rude to such a kind person and it has been made clear my step mother is the only one been denied and not all of us, you also mentioned we colluded with her which is not. Please just advice or time frame expectations for the problem to be over, thanks once more.

please I have a valid US visa. I was in US twice last year. In April for 3 weeks and then in NOvember for 1 week.
I want to go on an easter vacation with my 3 children ages 12, 10, 7.
My husband won't be going with us on this trip cos of work demands and he doesn't have a visa yet.
What are our chances and the likely questions to expect.
Thank you.
