Sadly, we will begin to watch igbo movies with the actors swinging between speaking igbo and English. They won't maintain just the igbo language. That's why dstv had not welcomed them since.

It's funny there are launching lgbo channel now for reasons best known to them. I hear some say the Igbo Language is going into extinction. I wonder where they got that info from. Or is it another propaganda against the lgbos. After establishing Nollywood and still controlling it till date, African Magic is just launching lgbo channel now. Who cares?

Multichoice just watch out how your decoders will sell this year. I'm trying to tell you that you've long kept your decoders to yourself by keeping away igbos out of it.

It's simple. Don't watch such Nollywood movies filled with lgbo and English Language. But unfortunately, it will drastically reduce the number of Nollywood movies you watch to just a few.

this is good news! cheesy
the next thing now is to ensure that all nollywood English movies are subtitled in Igbo.. that way we would control both the English and Igbo aspects of nollywood grin

The station isn't going anywhere. They have no materials to sustain it.

don't you think the company has done thier feasibilty study before coming up with the decision..
Or you think this is not business... For them to have approved it means that they have seen the profitability at the top management level after thorough research

Most of things that hinder us as nigerian youths and graduates is that we know thousand reasons why things will not work. But how things work elude us. What type of education do we get?

Back to topic, if Igbos are the most successful tribe in Nigeria on average despite that they are landlocked and densely populated, why wouldn't Mnet succeed with them.

My advice is this instead sit down hating and blaming, just create something that will work for you and other.

Envious people like you should beware.

The Igbos are a moving train. Trifle with them at your detriment.
