By Daniel Gumm EPE — OVER 500 members of the All Progressives Party, APC, have been received into the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, by the Lagos East senatorial coordinator of the GoodluckThumb, Habib Uthman, during the ‘thank you Nigeria’ concert/rally organised by the South-West Zone of the group, in Epe, Lagos State. The event, which featured road-show and musical performances by artistes such as Ade Piper, Dre Snag, Mallam Spicy, Little Doctor and Fuji Maestro, Remi Aluko, among others, also witnessed the award of ‘Democrat of the Decade’ to President Goodluck Jonathan by members of the group. Posthumous awards were also given to late M.K.O Abiola, late Chief Bola Ige, former minister; late Alfred Rewane, renowned political icon and Itsekiri leader; late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, late Kudirat Abiola and late Funsho Williams, for their contributions to the consolidation of democracy and national development. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/03/pdp-receives-500-apc-decampees-in-lagos/ 42 Likes 8 Shares |

Tinubu and Buhari's lust for power will undo APC when they fail in this election. If APC had fielded a younger and more credible candidate, they would have stood a better chance of challenging PDP in 2019. With this Buhari gamble, PDP will still be in power in the next 20 years. Watch as APC disintegrates immediately after the election. The fact that power has been zoned to the north in 2019 will hardly help matters. The PDP candidate in 2019 will be inheriting watertight structures in the SE, SS, NC and a reasonable traction in the SW which will be sufficient to beat any other northerner challenging him from another party. 52 Likes 4 Shares |
