why shouldn't Davido fans do likewise? They paid their hard-earned money to see a supposed A class artiste perform only to receive mediocrity in return. We ain't got no asslickers here in Africa babe.

Exactly, concert tickets are no joke, those things cost money, then you pay the booking fee, then on the day of the concert your butt stands there all night. Don't even get me started on those who spend tons of money on them because touts/companies/douches buy loads of tickets and then sell them at exuberant prices (folks paying thousands for a £100+ ticket or worse paying a similar amount for a £32+ ticket), some even sell phantom tickets....Then after all that wahala, the performer come f*** up? Abeg, me too I go crase well well. Thank God the one concert I paid for went smoothly - Janelle Monáe was awesome.

Janelle Monae is a true artist.

You have good taste.

The problem is that most popular 'artists' are not creative, they are actors who sing someone else's lines (often badly).

They can't write their own material.

They can't choreograph their dance moves.

Very few of them can play an instrument or even read music and yet they call themselves musicians and people are paying to see them.

That there are so many of these talentless drones is the fault of the consumer.


P.S.
Numerous people complained about Amy Winehouse when she was alive for subpar performances and a nonchalant attitude and Katy Perry has her detractors owing to her inability to sing live. Let's not forget about the various criticisms surrounding Britney Spears either. Everyone has bad nights but many are just talentless.
