The Zamfara Police Command has arrested the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA), Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi over alleged snatching of ballot boxes at Shadengara 004 polling unit in Shinkafi Local Government Area of the state.

Confirming the arrest to Channels Television on telephone, the state Commissioner of Police, Mr Femi Ogunbayode said that the APGA Candidate, who is also the National Secretary of APGA, personally supervised some thugs to hijack the ballot boxes from INEC presiding officers with the aim of manipulating the election results in his favour.

He also disclosed that the suspects are currently in police custody and would be charged to court for election offence after investigations have been concluded.

But it isn't. Nigeria's economy is more of a 100 naira loaf of bread....which rats and cockroaches have already gotten at.

If we are to have free and fair elections...we must get rid of the idea that there is a national plum cake. There isn't. We all have to work for our money. And it is high time we did that...by forcing our state governors to be innovators and by developing economies free of oil dependency.

It is either we do that....or face endless fights over resources that won't end well.

Nigerians....oil is a curse. Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. There is no cake. We have to source for the ingredients for the thing anyway.....via industries.....
