theV0ice:I'm from IMO state, obowo to be precise. can you tell me what party ohakim was in the time we voted him out and can you also tell me the party rochas was in the time we voted him in. people voting for rochas in IMO state is not because of his party, is because of his personality. |

NZEGWUAGU: ...and what is this over-recurring statement about Rochas betraying the Igbos?... Since when has it become a crime for a man to have a mind of his own or to think out of the box?... I'm sorry to say but Rochas has not betrayed me as an Igbo person. I am absolutely in support of the Buhari gamble over a Jonathan whom we already know. Rochas weighed his options and believed that a Buhari presidency would overall be better for his people than the present GEJ presidency. If Rochas was after money (as many Igbos who despise him allege), common sense tells me he would have simply joined the PDP instead of taking the risky gamble of being the ONLY Igbo man standing apart. Time and time alone would tell if Rochas' calculations are right of wrong. Wise people should quit the unnecessary 'betrayal/traitor' mantra and observe with positive hopes as situations unfold in the next 4 years. No one has a monopoly of wisdom 4 Likes |

truefact: Is he betraying his people because he is expanding his political terrain as opposed to regional polity in the East? Even if he looses, he has achieved a lot as far as I am concerned cos apart from the East, there is no any other region/tribe where Rochas has not derived recognition whether among the Yorubas or Hausas. That was how Ibos denied Rochas/Amaechi/ of VC slots as the strategist knew that they might not be able to deliver their own region: their polity of backwardness and tribalism has further denied Ngige of being the Senate President with ease. Is PDP the original Ibo's party? Where is APGA, the real Ojukwu's party? For your information, polity needs flexibility and inter-dependence as opposed to dogmatic way it is being practice in the East. Look at how Hausas practice their own: can you tell me any other tribe that will benefit more than them whether under GMB or GEJ's administration? Or do you have any prove that Ibos benefits more than Hausas under yet to be concluded 6 years administration of GEJ? yet you are here shouting they worked against your brother in his administration. You puts all your eggs in one basket and crying of marginalization instead of realizing that Ibos are the one marginalizing themselves. This is the outcome of "better than thou" belief of Ibo. Every tribes in Nigeria has its own strength and weaknesses: that's what you fail to realize. Nigeria is one and no human being or tribe is created specially than others: God bless Nigeria. 6 Likes 1 Share |

truefact: Foolishness brings shame. And shame shall be upon u for lacking common sense. U are the betrayer, for supporting a party that has done nothing special in the east for the past 6yrs. No body can win rochas in Imo state in a free n fair election. 4 Likes |

This Contrabel or what are you called.Do you hope to ever become a governor even as a lepa? Rochas is winner anyday. Before politics he had already made name for himself in business and philantropy.Just because of election and nairaland people like you feel empowered to talk to anyone on forum. If you run into Rochas face to face can you speak carelessly to him? Empty vessel.Rochas is a huge success in business thats why he can fund elections. Why should Imo be in opposition?Just to satisfy Ihedioha"s personal and selfish ambition. We all remember Ibidapo Obe in Unilag.Students chased him away.He is one of the most controversial old men around. He loves and worships money.I know he can not be trusted. Collynzo9: You may be right that Rochas wasn't sure but only made an Assumption but if the Inec does not have any hidden plan or agenda , he should have told us the rate of the PVC Collected in that LG instead of Telling us the number of Register Voters , You cannot tell me that The whole 144 plus register Voters there collect their PVC. |
