Just when we were almost getting a generational shift,we slump back to gerontocracy. Chai!

What did your generational shift give you in 16 years?

What an old man sees sitting, a child cannot see even when standing or jumping.

We need result and we shouldn't care who gives it to us.

If this is true.....then quite disappointing. I expected to see a long list of technocrats. The is a list filled with failed politicians.

Timipre Sylva? Minister of Transport? ?

Chris Ngige?? Minister of Works? ?

Fayemi? ? Minister of Commerce? ?

Tam David West is 79 years old and he would head the most sensitive ministry in the country?

Ango Abdulahi, the man who threatened to make the government ungovernable if Jonathan contested is adviser of Agriculture?

75 year old Umar Mutallab, father of the underwear terrorist is made minister of finance?

Looks like a terrible list except for Ezekwesili and Pat Utomi.

Fashola would have made more sense as Minister of works. The man spent the lasts 8 years constructing roads and assessing projects and suddenly you send him to an office to look at law books. What a waste'of talent! I know he studied law but his talent would have been put better even as Foreign Affairs minister.

This list is disappointing. And it doesn't look like the great talent hunter, Tinubu had any input in this. I hoped to see the list filled with young talented individuals but all I see here is old men who had done little or nothing in the past to justify these positions.
Looks like we are in for a long thing in the next four years.

Please Tinubu do something about this list!!

Firstly, the list may not be authentic.

Secondly, age should not be a huge factor as far as the person has other required qualities to do the job.

Thirdly, it was not Ango Abdullahi who threatened to make GEJ's regime ungovernable. It was Lawal Kaita.

Lastly, the list may not be perfect as no list has ever been but it looks 70% good.

As I said, let's wait for the real list as this may actually be wrong.

Blessed are those who are not expecting any positive "change", for they shall not be disappointed. In fact, we'll count ourselves lucky if the Buhari govt is able to equal the achievements of gej in the last 5 years. Reality will soon set in and even payment of salaries may become an issue. All the same, I wish the "change" agents goodluck.

Conflict of Interest.
I hope that their due diligence procedure would include checks to ensure that the ministerial appointees do not have any conflicts of interest.

E.G If you are a major shareholder in a power generation/distribution company, or held a senior position, no power portfolio for you. We do not need your interest conflicting between that of your personal company and the interest of the country.

Don't think there is a Ministry of Commerce any longer. What is the use of a Ministry of Commerce when we have a Ministry of Trade and Investment. Also, I really don't think Pastor Tunde Bakare would leave his church to become a Minister of Special Duties. This is just a calculated guess by the op and it is not verifiable. A party that is unable to produce a zoning formula after almost a month of winning the elections cannot bring out a tentative list of ministers to be appointed, which is a more tedious process.
