My advice don't ever tell anyone that you have 3 million naira, just try to get estimate. Also I think the money will go a long way provided you will supervise the work yourself. Start the work and with time you will work and make more money to complete it. Though N3 million cannot complete the building.

If you skip doing a German floor (risk is that foundation moisture will soak the wall and the bottom section paint will soon begin to peel off and always look damp).

A modest 3-4 bedroom bungalow with not so large rooms, little or no pillars (depending on design) considering use of local mixed gravel to build required strength for door/window/roof concrete requirement. Also considering local roofing sheet (Cameroon roofing sheets can do).

You should be able to build the skeletal structure and put external doors + window burglary.

You then need to raise another budget for finishing (interior fittings etc)

This is my candid advice, invest the money in a business u can manage or go for an investment u r sure will continue to bring in income for @ least 10 - 15 yrs. Then use d proceeds to build a house, while d investment still brings in profit. Although u need to b financially disciplined to keep ur target in view.

All the above would collectively cost you more than 15 million naira. And of course, you'll have to pay an architect to draw you a blueprint. Take it from someone who knows what it takes to erect a multi-roomed structure.

invest half of your 3 M in a business and in under one year, you could be with 4 million. in that way, there will always be money to keep building the house until it is completed.

The 3 million will not complete that your house project. I advise u use the cash to expand if ur doing any biz or keep it in the bank for future use.
