Wow! I just made bootcamp! But I get issue o!, my laptop is just 2gb ram, the 512 graphics?? dont even go there. My old machine is way below their stipulated specs. please whats the way forward here? Can I rely on my my old lappy, go to the bootcamp without one or I have to buy a new one before I can get in?  |

realbee:lol, my laptop failed to meet the requirement cos it has 100gb hdd and a shared graphics not a dedicated one. |

Ichiato: Okay oo. Ask and ye shall get answers. realbee: Those specs are crazy, right? So I got into the class VII bootcamp smiing with my Acer laptop with the following specs: RAM: 3GB Processor: intel core i-5 2.6GHz 4-cores Graphics: nvidia GeForce 600m 2GB dedicated Graphics memory HDD: 300GB And every other required stuffs. Guess what, I balled during bootcamp cos my laptop was class. But wheb the fellowship started, the balling dropped cos I needed to run lots of RAM and Processing power consuming apps at the same time. The issue is my RAM, not Processing power. A laptop with an intel dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, intel HD family chipset graphics with 128MB memory and 100GB of HDD will definitely get you through bootcamp if it works at optimal level, But it will collapse during the fellowship program, I think the reason they specified those specs is to ensure you have a smooth training period prior you getting a better laptop, if you make into the fellowship program |

toystars:Ok, now that I have finally got my answer. I hope I have won myself a mentor My question is if fellows are allowed to run the fellowship program while also serving if they are to serve in lagos? |

izutex007:Which news you wan hear? Its only the first day. Anyway, all bootcampers were divided into two classes. Does with any kind of programming experience and those without any kind of experience. Those with experience are going to be working with ruby language while the other, javascript. We also did a short test but not related to programming though and our scores were recoded. |
