Has The South West Made A Wrong Move? by Nobody: 2:59pm On May 12, 2015 |
From all political sources , its now known that the north will consolidate power once again , with clinching the leadership of the senate and speakership. The latest development is that the SS and SE ( PDP) are behind the north in this move thereby thwarting the efforts of the southwest. Having felt betrayed by the SW, the SE and SS ( PDP senators and house memebers) have moved to form an alliance with the northern APC caucus to produce the senate leader and speakership. .Has the southwest made a wrong move? Did they ever think that this marriage with the north will be happy ever? The game of old roman politics has started , the first to reach to the SE and SS will carry the day. My bet is that the northerns will first reach out to them cause of their advantage of the presidency and considering the high level of hatred between the SW and other southerns since after the election. The northerners has once again proved their mastery of national politics. This will provide a path towards 2019. Share your opinions. 19 Likes 3 Shares |

Other zones also voted for GMB not because of sectional politic but because PDP has failed this country. What is with you people and tribal rantings for God sake? People have the right to make their choices and they have done so, all these talks about SW,SS,SE, NW NC etc should stop. I beg us for the sake of the coming generation. Meanwhile,.......... vote subbieD for Miss nairaland 2015 9 Likes |

nelson4: Let me indulge you a little 1 So assuming the north reach out to the SS/SE, the two will jump at it just to spite the SW? 2 Also, buy giving their ass to APC north to Bleep, what will the SE/SS gain from it? 3 When you say betray, please clarify this statement. who betrayed who and was there any agreement amongst the SS/SS and SW? 4 Why are you offering yourselves to the North on a platter of gold just to get back at the SW? Now this is what I think? I think the SS/SE are so desperate for power they will allow the North to use them to reduce south west infleucne while at the same time giving noting to the SS/SE. The SS/SE are suppose to lead the new opposition, but with the way things are going, these people may soon decamp to APC, cause those northerns are not coming to PDP. so can we conclude that out of hate which is unjustified anyway the SS/SE will do all it can just to bring the SW down even if the north has nothing to offer them If any of you Igbos come here to mention south solidarity or northern born to rule God will punish you all These Igbos in the past four years monopolized Jonathan they forgot the SW, now they are shouting SW betrayed them. Na God go punish all of you 37 Likes 3 Shares |

You Igbos are perpetual failures who never seem to learn. All your pre/post-elections predictions against SW political ambitions have failed and will continue to. Nairaland is still littered with all your failed postulations of doom against the Yorubas before this past elections -- how GEJ will win the SW, how Atiku will beat Buhari in the primaries, how Igbos will determine the next president, etc), but obviously you are yet to learn to keep your envious, foolish, and infantile predictions to yourselves. Smh. What a bunch of sorry losers. 22 Likes 1 Share |

No reasonable SS person will be celebrating the prospect of northerners occupying both the Senate Presidency and HoR speakership. Should that happen, that's the end of the PIB as we know it and we can also say sweet good bye to any oil revenue sharing reform that will benefit the SS. But some will still prefer the north in both positions, just to spite the SW. To what end? Aseni se ra e. 13 Likes 1 Share |

edogirl2: Please ignore the morons, what will they gain in their attempt to spite the SW. The north will rather consolidate their power and share oil wells soons, trust me a lot of that is coming to south westerners inclusing Tinubu and Fashola. For your information, what will APC north offer the SS/SE, to betray the South West The south west will always be above these morons until they learn 9 Likes |

nelson4: Another bitter loser from the south east No there is no hatred between the SW and other southerners, but it possible the other southerners out of jealousy hate the south west . Why didn't the other southerners hate the SW in 2011 when they voted in mass for Jonathan 14 Likes |

edogirl2: And what did the SW get if I may ask? Just a silent VP position? Jonathan knew VP is silent hence (though his VP is a northerner) he still gave the northerners other key positions to carry them along. But SW is here having orgasm over VP and don't care if the north keeps the remaining positions. Smh 11 Likes |

The same politics of bitterness and hatred that has brought them irrelevance in Nigerian politics is what they keep playing and canvassing for. And when the result of their naivety stares them in the face, they run around the world to cry marginalization, born to rule, and other nonsense. 13 Likes |

My thread is based purely on new developments and political analysis, am not a bigot, have nothing personal against the SW , just politics. What stops the SW( APC) from reaching out to PDP ( SS / SE) house members? Maybe their conscience judges them, the north understands this is politics nothing personal. 9 Likes |

nelson4: Na wa o!!!! see baba nla bigot claiming I am not a bigot You said it yourself your leaders are waiting for either the south west to reach out or the north, and you went on to conclude quick that you expect the north to reach out first Did you forget you wrote this part: 'The latest development is that the SS and SE ( PDP) are behind the north in this move thereby thwarting the efforts of the southwest. Having felt betrayed by the SW, the SE and SS ( PDP senators and house memebers) have moved to form an alliance with the northern APC caucus to produce the senate leader and speakership'. Since you have already offered the north your asses to Bleep just to spite the SW, How can you come here some few minutes later to say this 'What stops the SW( APC) from reaching out to PDP ( SS / SE) house members? Maybe their conscience judges them, the north understands this is politics nothing personal' Just to see SW lose the speakership, your leaders will suck a Fulani man dick shame on you and your people The south west never needed your support in the past, it doesn't need it now 12 Likes |

Rose2014: Definition of betrayal according to my last gf: Betrayal is when your fucking boyfriend decides to make up with/engage in sexual acts with another girl after all the great things you've given, offered, bought, done to him, with the excuse of "wanting to get more experience", thus leaving you with a broken spirit and with a bunch of emotions of hatred, loss of self-respect, loss of self-confidence, loneliness and total fucking sadness. The bolder part above I understand that is how you all feel. But I have a question, you didn't do this for the SW: great things you've given, offered, bought, So why do you feel betrayed? How can you say someone betrayed you when the two of you don't even know each other Jonathan said the SE are responsible for success (more like failure wouldn't you agree ) of his government. so please when did jonathan acknowledge the SW voted him in mass in 2011 7 Likes |
