You and GEJ, you are you not tired. Many people still succeded even in this filth called one Nigeria that you fathers fought to make it remain one. You hate Nigeria and yet you dont one to go seperate and build your own country. I hope after 29th may you start channeling your frustration in the right place because change is an immediate thing. Frustrated?

No, no, no..... that's not acceptable. He was at liberty to insult any individual, and he targeted the Nigerian President, so am i.

I saw this Coup coming! Al-Jazeera had aired a documentary some weeks ago, saying that the army was in support of the mass protest because the third term bid violates the constitution which they are ready to defend. It was only the police force that was arresting the protesters. But Nigerian Army were turned overnight to be the protector of only the sitting government and not the country at large. Smh.

You are a joker.
GEJ's first assignment after handing over power will be to repair his old fishing boat languishing in the Otueke Rivers.
He needs to get busy after handing over power and sadly he is too daft, dumb and dim-witted to land another decent job

Stupid African Leaders. What do you want that you didn't get in the last eight years you have ruled? And yet you still want to go for third term. Na your father get Burundi?

I really thank God for giving Nigeria GEJ and is God's will that Nigeria have witnessed this day.

I cant say is a good move for army to take over in Burundi cuz worst civilian rule is better than military rule.

Did he insult the President? Let's be honest here, he said "This is what would have happened to GEJ" That is not an insult, you on the other hand said "This is what will happen to your Useless Father". Compare both.

Mr. Nkurunziza has received a hard lesson for taking the people of Burundi for a ride. When thirst for prolonged stay in power overrides common sense, deadly force becomes fitting to push a greedy despot out. I hope the military men stabilize the country and conduct and peaceful, free and credible elections. #StandWithBurundi

GEJ was wise and quick.

God bless Nigeria.

Good one from the army, the army are just saving the country from total collapse due to greed of the overthrown president in seeking a third term.

We are in the age of social media no government should take its citizens for granted, with just a twit you can have millions on the street

So the army is made up of foreigners? Abi is it not the same people that make up the army. They will also feeck up the nation just like any military coup in any African country

A shame they waited till he was out of the country before taking over.

They should have done it while he is in the country so that they can kill him.

welcome development, at least election will hold for another government to take over instead of that one seeking for 4th time.
Re: Military Coup In Burundi, Pierre Nkurunziza Ousted by Nobody: 2:15pm On May 13, 2015
After 13 years of civil war I don't think the president should jeopardise the relative peace in the last 12 years by seeking a 3rd term.

A bloodless coup may be the best solution. Sad I support this move but it's better than going back to civil war
