Eyah....So you have to waste your precious mb to make me happy? Thanku sha. But you for keep am make you take chat with hajara and aisha cos am already a happy man. Just trina correct the oga at the top and to tell him that the term 6 geopolitical zone is nothing but 6jokepolitical zone. Nigeria and Nigerians will know peace and prosperity the day we begin to see things the real way instead of playing politics with everything including human lives. Imagine I travel to the "core north" and they call me that derogatory name like ARNE or ARNA (infidel or one who doesn't worship the real GOD) and in ilorin or Ekiti where we speak the same language they treat me with respect not minding my religion. Now tell me where will I prefer to associate with? Besides what happen to common sence? How can you add an Agatu, tiv, igede and idoma in the same state and you expect peace? Or a hausa man and a kataf, jaba, and fulani man in the same state and expect peace? This is what our politician will not want us to talk about. But the truth is, the south will keep living in peace and the north will keep boiling becos the right thing wic is for people with the same history to be in the same state has not been done.

In Southern Nigeria, it is actually an insult to mean unintelligent & low class. I wouldn't call my hausa friend in Lagos ab0ki, because he knows it is an insult in the Lagos context... Because of the popular saying in Lagos - "ab0ki no get sense."

amokeme:
ab0ki means friend. So if your intention was to insult, i think you should ask for another word sad

Kwara state (Ilorin) is South West... 70% of the population is yoruba in Kwara.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/Kwara_State

Look at the map of Nigeria and read the wikipedia article. If Nigeria breaks today, 70% of Kwara (Ilorin) indigenes would never agree to go with the North.

These are not cities per se because they're just showing us soulless structures.True cities are vibrant with commerce, busy people on the move and a real metropolitan inner core.Buildings don't a city make-its the people and a certain culture, all of which are lacking here.

school buildings and government buildings.... anyway, Nigerians like to represent their own.

meanwhile, the north is not well developed. maybe, small part of Kaduna, and kano state that's all.

I school in ABU, I know what I'm saying.

OreMI22:
Northern Nigeria surely has the most beautiful cities in Nigeria. But that is well expected since they have been ruling Nigeria for the longest period and concentrated Federal projects in the north and apart from the few oil producing states and Lagos, northern states on the average have bigger federal allocations than southern or middle belt states.

No, I beg to differ. Developments in the North are not due to bigger federal allocations but due to patriotism on the part of leadership and some degree of honesty. And I believe federal allocations are made based on sizes of the states as we have more smaller States in the middle belt and South, except the Niger Delta that enjoys the larger chunk of the allocations due to its oil richness.

Hey I've not seen pictures from the Beautiful Jos city and its country sides.

boluwatife66:

You seem to know much about geography. Sure you are born in this indomie age cos when I was doing geography they thought us something called the Middle belt. What happened to that TERM? It has gone extinct and replaced with the new GAMBARI term known as north central. But as for us the yoruba's in kogi we know geography better to know that any state bellow the confluence is not North but SOUTH. So GEOGRAPHER the ilorin may accept and keep their EMIR, but my traditional ruler is an OBA'ARO or simply Oba and I am not in anyway a northerner. The next village to mine is Ekiti and though we speak the same language and farm on the same land, they are to u a southerner and I am a northerner right? What happened to historical homogeneity? Oga pack well o.
Are you from Iyamoye?
