It doesn't take rocket science to know that with this perennial individualism and lack of altruism that pipz like @crimanalmindz depict, Nigeria has a long way to go. I am a medical doctor from Rivers State who scored 42 but hasn't been invited whereas I have a colleague from Abia that scored 35 who got an invite 2 days ago. Until we start standing up to various forms of injustice in this country, our leaders will keep taking us for granted and won't stop contracting delicate exams like the nddc scholarship- which was originally meant for putting the round pegs in round holes- to incompetent persons due to nepotism and impunity. Our leaders call for resource control but it's appalling to know what they do with the huge monies accruing to them. I think a viable social media campaign against this nddc injustice will create awareness. NDDC scholarship should not be a favour, it should be a right if deserved.

NDDC NEVER CAME TO THE MEDIA TO GIVE A BASIS OR PROCESS FOR SELECTION. SO WHY CRITICIZE THE SELECTION PROCESS? YOU SCORED 42 , SO WHAT? DO YOU KNOW IF 100 PEOPLE IN YOUR LGA SCORED 43 AND ABOVE? WHY ARE YOU ALL TO FULL OF YOURSELVES. WHY NOT CONTACT NDDC TO CLARIFY THERE SELECTION PROCESS

Criminalmindz what are you talking about? There is a system and it should work for the people who worked hard for it and deserve a slot in the interview. I wrote on Monday, it was bad enough that an exam for 1 o'clock didn't start till 7:30pm and I had to write it 3 times before I got a score. Now I scored high and I haven't been called. A friend of mine with the same course, the same State, the same LGA got a lower score but was called. Another friend scored high but wasn't sent an sms until he went to nddc office to complain. Please if u don't know what to say, just keep quiet. The system is flawed and this particular year, it was very disorganized.
bros so u suffer like me too...chai..it shall not b in vaino

Ladies and Gents, I received your request to send messages. I would love to help but as we chat I am yet to receive a SMS. I have called the guy and he said not to worry that they aren't done, but I am worried. I have called my Uncle who is at NDDC now to see someone to help me make a complaint and inquire about what is happening. I would v gone myself but to enter the office has a lot of protocols. He has promised to call me when he's with his friend (a manager) who called him over so I can speak to him over the phone. I have resorted to storm the presidentiał hotel on Thursday if this inconsistency persist. Will keep you guys updated. Has anyone received a SMS today, especially from Rivers State?

Criminalmindz the cut off for Rivers State is 35. Anyone who got above that should have been called. The problem is that only those who have people to fight for them will get Justice. NDDC was using Cinfores to host their exams in the past, I just dunno why they changed Cinfores and started using this new company who clearly can't get their acts together. It's a shame!!!

I think it is based on the courses and performance, a friend scored 29 in the CBT, Information Technology and received an invite

Gaily04 What about my friend who scored 2 points below me, same State, Course and LGA yet was invited and I wasn't? Criminalmindz said we should verify from NDDC the criteria they used in selecting. But I'm telling u both that I have been able to reach out to them and they told me that the cut off was 35. Perhaps for Rivers Engineers. That I cannot say! Just telling u both that the system is flawed!! Stop acting like we don't have a case.

I think you should keep your mouth shut and allow people express themselves. If you have been sent a text go and prepare for interview and stop behaving like a kid. I have very reliable information coming from both NDDC and the consultant company handling the exams so please be reasonable and respect the boundaries.

This is the issue,

NDDC has a cut-off stipulated for each state, the consultants select those that meet the cut-off and send the names back to NDDC who are now responsible for allocating interview dates and sending SMS

The names are being sorted manually and they are still in the sorting process, the interview dates will stretch to two weeks so definitely those that have not received who meet the cut-off will be sent their SMS eventually and interview dates allocated to them.

Let all nerves be calm, and pray to God that everything work out fine.

Mind you, I'm not an applicant am just observing.

This criminal guy, what's your problem?, you must be an Ikwerre man, haughty, and arrogant.
Look, house let's all accept the fact that NDDC contracted this year's interview to an inexperienced firm for this years CBT.
Look, I and my younger bro scored 35 each, from Rivers, Eleme LGA; he wrote in the morning of monday, while I wrote late in the night around 7:30pm. Coincidentially, we had same score, and he's been invited for oral on 28th while I'm yet to get an invite. People come here to give all sorta guesses. Something is seriously wrong somewhere. I believe they'll still send an invite to us. But if this process is a manual one, there's bound to be a problem, mistakes and flaws. I wish those that fall in my class well. Let God's will be done.

Everyone should please be calm. I just returned from NDDC office (inspite of all the protocols) and I was referred to the Marge education consultant who is currently at Hotel presidential where the interview is being conducted. I spoke with him, told him my score and he replied "you are not supposed to be here, you didn't meet the cut off". So I asked him the cut off was and he said he couldn't disclose such information to me. I thanked him anyway and left.

My advice to anyone who hasn't been invited and you know you scored high (I scored 31 by the way, medical science and from ondo) find your way to the venue of the interview and make your complain know yourself. Please don't wait for sms invitation, you might wait too long. The whole process is not transparent as it is so I advice you become proactive.

I met a guy there who scored 38 and from delta (don't know his course). The man attended to him and assured him the issue would be sorted.

I actually got the number of one of the guys sending the SMS and he said they aren't done sending. He requested for my details and said I will get today as they will send more text messages today. He also said he's aware many people who scored high haven't been texted and that they are working to rectify that. I'm hoping they sort it out today. I quite fancy the idea of going to NDDC headquarters to lodge a complaint early as it gives time for them to do something before the interviews r done with, as when they finish it will be too late to do anything. Cause trust me some people that score high will still be omitted at the days end if they aren't proactive about this.

Please mine own is that my number on their system is wrong and there has been no way of changing it....I tried on yhe day I wrote the test. Is there a way you or anyone could assist. I didn't even get an email for the test and have not gotten for the oral. I got 41 in the test. I have emailed the guy from margeducation who confirmed I could write the test, but no response. ..I stay quite far and I'm working.....I need pre information to enable me secure time off work and source for money too to make it for oral interview. ...Thanks

I know it sounds silly but it's the hard truth. NDDC has finished sending sms's. So it's either you go and complain to them or you MOVE ON!!!

By the way peeps from BY I just heard your cut off is 30 so please if you got more than that DON'T SIT AT HOME EXPECTING match down to presidential or NDDC.

Look at you contradicting yourself. Those from Bayelsa should match down to presidential hotel & the rest of us should move on? You and Criminalmindz should just keep quiet abeg since you have nothing better to say.

Wow!!! Now read carefully. What I'm trying to say is this if you don't go and complain to them you won't get an invite. That's why I used the context 'sitting at home'.

What about those who stay very far and don't have where to stay in ph? Should they also move on when they actually earned the right to be interviewed? Your advice is insensitive cuz it's not our faults that an incompetent hand handled our scores. People expressing themselves here, helps those who stay far know how to manage their situation. So stop being insensitive and mind your bizness.

all he is saying this is time to be proactive instead of waiting for a text that might never come. Try to get phone number to call, send a mail, send someone to go check out at venue to see what's happening. That's all
