shadowgwalker:

What about those who stay very far and don't have where to stay in ph? Should they also move on when they actually earned the right to be interviewed? Your advice is insensitive cuz it's not our faults that an incompetent hand handled our scores. People expressing themselves here, helps those who stay far know how to manage their situation. So stop being insensitive and mind your bizness.

all he is saying this is time to be proactive instead of waiting for a text that might never come. Try to get phone number to call, send a mail, send someone to go check out at venue to see what's happening. That's all

BLESS YOU

Guys!

As e be like dis, me I don bounce...

I scored 42. I have always been scoring high, even last year. Its a shame that our system is so messed up.

Should I get an SMS I will attend the interview, and if not, Na bouncing things. Life goes on.

I rather spend my time, studying and building myself on how to revolutionise things than rant up and down here.

Well, to crimminal... You and this ur rubbish talk, I wonder !

To the medical doctor, continue with you medical practise. I feel you, am intrested in the social media campaign, plz ping me.

Incase you don't know me, read through NDDC scholarship 2014 thread, I and a few engineered the newspaper articles that pushed NDDC to release the names 2014 awardees.

I have a confirmed info, that somebody who did not write the test last year was awarded the scholarship, although the process last year was a lot more transparent and organised than this year . Just to mention a few of our leaders wrong doing.

There is no doubt that our leaders are not worthy in all ramifications.

I am among those that will show them pepper.

The battleline is drawn, what else am I living for.

Anyways, some persons here can go ahead and lick the toes of irresponsible leadership of NDDC and the consultant firm. I really do not care. The only condition will be save they repent and do the right thing.
I am not against repentance or change.

But if they choose to continue in sin, the holy book says "the soul that sins shall die"

For those, called for interview I wish you the best.

Do you best, dress well, put on suit, make sure u have basic knowledge of your first degree, don't panic , don't be too confident, greet them when u enter, as if u can sit, know your current affairs, sound confident. Don't be a shaky shaky daddy.

Last year, the merit slots, favoured ppl with the highest scores. Then the corruption slot went to man know man.

All am saying is that there will be "chance " for merit. If u have no "oga on top" , look up higher there you will see the "king of kings"

I take a bow!

Obrigado !

IMO state. 40. Engineering

That's so high. The system this year is awful. Just try your best. 40 is too good a score to let go.

Oh please!! That's not what he was saying. His first statement was that we should move on! Why didn't he say we should go to presidential hotel until I wrote "silly advice" there. I've called, I've been running around for myself. All they keep saying is that I should wait. Then I come to nairaland to see if anyone has any new leads then I read "move on". We don't need all these negativity here.

Please when I was referring to Local Govt, I was talking about the final selection for award of the scholarship. I don't know anything about how people are selected for the second stage.

But using common sense, if there is someone, from the same local govt like you, that scored lower than you and got an invite, then you should also be invited. However it is highly unlikely that two people from the same village or two siblings will get the final award.

Just speak to the MARG guy and trust him to sort it out. last year over 40% of people did not get the mail to come for their scholarship award letter, not to talk of interview. I don't know why NDDC cannot just leave these things in the hands of more enlightened people; this thing is no longer rocket science.

if it is true that the MARG guy sent invites by email, then it is also true that he has the list of everyone that was suppose to be invited.

if I were in your shoes, I will contact him, and give him my details to help me verify.
the details to send to him will normally include
your Name, Ref code (DEL-0#########), Score (0 - 50), State, Level (PhD or MSc) and Field (like engineering, geoscience, etc).

please try to coordinate yourselves properly and go about things in an educated way. Don't give Buhari and your other jealous Nigerian brothers any excuse to terminate this good work.

For instance, I don't know anyone, yet I got the scholarship, and the experience has been worth it.

Cheers and Good luck.

I had my first degree in Kano, n it was from Hausa people I first heard about NDDC. that said.
Buhari is more likely to cancel it than fix it. The Hausa's just don't like the idea. The reason being that in addition to NDDC n Niger Delta Ministry allocation from the federal govt, 3% of the operating cost of every International oil company in the Niger Delta, is given by those companies to NDDC. they feel its too much, n why not when unlike ptdf they don't benefit from it. So think well.

In fact NDDC is trying to rush this year own as their budget has been passed, n prepare for war next year.

NDDC NEVER CAME TO THE MEDIA TO GIVE A BASIS OR PROCESS FOR SELECTION. SO WHY CRITICIZE THE SELECTION PROCESS? YOU SCORED 42 , SO WHAT? DO YOU KNOW IF 100 PEOPLE IN YOUR LGA SCORED 43 AND ABOVE? WHY ARE YOU ALL TO FULL OF YOURSELVES. WHY NOT CONTACT NDDC TO CLARIFY THERE SELECTION PROCESS

He isn't making fool of himself you can't tell me everybody in his local govt scored 43 come on man. He might have seen pple below him that has been called .

This criminal guy, what's your problem?, you must be an Ikwerre man, haughty, and arrogant.
House let's all accept the fact that NDDC contracted this year's interview to an inexperienced firm for this years CBT.
Look, I and my younger scored 35, from Rivers, Eleme LGA; he wrote in the morning of monday, while I wrote late in the night around 7:30pm. Coicedentially, we had same score, and he's been invited for oral on 28th while I'm yet to get an invite. People come here to give all sorta guesses. Something is seriously wrong somewhere. I believe they'll still send an invite to us. But if this process is a manual one, there's bound to be a problem, mistakes and flaws. I wish those that fall in my class well. Let God's will be done.
