when you're tired of all that life has brought your way, you search for a job, you don't get or you don't get a good one. people tend to throw insults at you and you feel useless. what should you do? I am not too sure about that! You guys (successful applicants) would be informed to resend your referees (2 refs, and from your last school of graduation). These are the referees that I know PwC will contact later on.

Cheers!!!

In whatever way the post may portray, kindly endeavour to provide your best reply.

I applied for PwC with sending my resume(CV). The naughty me just checked my email and I noticed I am to complete some assessment test by 19th of May (that is tomorrow).

I believe I can stil go for it. But in this thread, I am confused about some fellow's comment which I might have interpreted as physical interview rather than the online test question I assumed it to be.

Please, how long will it take to answer all questions? What are the questions like? Anyway to practice ahead within this short period of time I have?

Pls i look forward to your candid replies.

I will be refreshing this page as much as I can. Pls help guys!

By critically digesting your post, I think you applied for the PwC's Advisory Internship Program. If I guessed right, what people have been discussing here concerns you less.

To answer your question (which you urgently need), go to the foremost pages of this thread, you'd see some links to some helpful materials that can help you scale through the aptitude test successfully.

If the format was the same as that of the one we (Graduate Trainee candidates) did, the assessment would be divided into two parts: verbal and numerical reasoning.

The verbal reasoning has comprehension passages with some followed questions. The questions would have 3 options: True, False, and Cannot Say. Read up the materials I directed you into to learn how to answer such passage type.

As for the numerical, you'd be basically tested on how to interpret tables, graphs, and charts. Read up the materials, too; they would definitely help you.

Best of Luck!!!

Honourable phetty has said it all, I am sure there is another thread for the "Internship Program" on here, you should search for it. Our thread here is for Graduate Trainee, we applied since last year and this is the last stage, I am sure you just applied this year. So I advise you follow what phetty said. Hope we were helpful smiley

I think someone asked on here sometime ago asked about shaking the interviewers, or something of that nature. See bah, the distance between me and the interviewers yesterday was no joke. Three people staring at you; with the distance between y'all equal to that between the moon and Earth (err slightly over-exaggerated but hey, it was quite the distance).

Anyway, looking back at how my interview went (I don't know if it was good or bad, I'm sure quite a number of people would share this sentiment), I would say that dropping hints, or even outright questions that you were asked, or replying someone who asked direct questions about how the day went, with clear and non-cryptic answers, does not directly translate to helping them per se or reducing your chances of entering whatsoever. It's just sad that we have turned life itself into a competition, while forgetting that those who go together go the furthest. For instance, of all the questions that people said they were asked on here, the few questions I'd say are consistent would be "tell us about yourself" (usually the first, after they try and calm you down with small talk), and maybe news (I'm not sure if everyone was asked this). Oh and of course, the "why do you want to work here" question. It's worthy of note that these questions were not in succession. The interview was dynamic and interactive, with direct questions here and there. By and large, it's mostly what you say they ask you questions on. So you either "conquer" the battle with your sword, or fall on it and impale yourself.

And for the love of God, people who have not done their interview, know your (recent)news, business news, news that happened that day, news that is of great importance to the world, any news, and be ready to answer follow up questions on it. Also, be ready to back up your answers with cogent case scenarios. To every reply you give, use illustrations and reasonable case scenarios. In addition to all those, I was asked questions on morals and ethics.

My two cents.

All the best guys. Shalom.
