I think Sokari has changed the dynamics in the middle. Judging by what Manu Garba has been saying, Sokari's technique is top notch and he'd probably be the go-to person in the middle. He said Sokar is one of the three players he's tipping to make waves in New Zealand. I think Mathew, Sokari and Ifeanyi would be the ones running strings in the midfield.

I can't wait for the World Cup to begin. I have not really seen Sokari play. Manu and his crew know best and I'm looking forward to watching the Flying Eagles do better than the 2005 set. I have watched Mathew, idowu and Ifeanyi lots. Mathew is very intelligent, composed, doesn't like to give the ball away, also packs lethal shots. Ifeanyi is very confident, full of tricks and very balanced, idowu is full of energy, covers every breath of the field, chases the opponent out of breath and always works hard to disrupt the opponents rhythm while allowing the likes of Mathew and co the space to supply defence splitting passes.

If Sokari can do better, then we are in for a treat.

Manu: Iheanacho Can Replace Lampard

Head coach of the Flying Eagles, Manu Garba, says Kelechi Iheanacho can fill the void created by the departure of Frank Lampard from Manchester City if given the chance.

Manu, in a chat with SL10.ng before the team departed for Dubai en route to New Zealand for the Under-20 World Cup, said the 18-year-old has got very similar traits to the English Premier League legend.

"To be honest I’m not surprised at his performances for Manchester City youth teams as I have said it before – he can play for any team in the world, as a matter of fact they will do well to use him as a replacement for Frank Lampard," he told SL10.ng.

"He shares similar style of play with the outgoing legend. They can both create and score goals from midfield with late runs into the 18-yard box hardly spotted by opposition defenders.”

However, the coach advised Iheanacho to keep working hard especially if he is included in the club’s pre-season activities ahead of next season.

What of the. Team that made a mincemeat of the supereagles in the Nation's cup of that year.. wasn't it that same U20 team?

Please, abeg...this present flying eagles team is the truth! End of story.

No one is arguing with u. U missed d point. Ghana injected some of the promising players from that U-20 squad into National team. They did not replace their senior squad. That's what we expect Keshi to do.

They were 8 of them at Cup of Nations. However, only 4 made it to the world cup.

I've not observed the Kelechi-Lampard comparison. Truthfully, I have not seen a player he plays like. He has a hybrid of different players. I have seen him shoot like Yaya Toure, I have seen him evade players like Henry, I have seen him create like Messi, I have seen him score Inzaghi kind of goals. And yes, he has a Balotelli-kind of arrogance, which is more like confidence to me.

I think he stands alone.

This statement has just settled our arguments we had some few weeks back .... Manu will use hm as an attacking midfielder . Give him the free role and he will cause havoc .

Well said Sir. That's why of all player qualities you mentioned, I say Messi is the closest Nacho brings to mind as a whole coz like messi, he creates, scores, skips past markers, navigates out of tight spaces, exploits the tiniest spaces in the 18-yard box, make mazy runs and more... Like Messi, Nacho is an Amf, Rwf/Rmf, Cf(false 9), SS and Lwf/Lmf. Like Sir Lexyman pointed out, he's a Free role kind of player akin to messi's at barca. BUT STILL NACHO IS UNIQUE AND DOES STAND ALONE COZ HE COULD BE MORE...
P.S: Nacho also has a few Zlatan qualities and equally brings to mind the goal instincts of a certain pele.

I'm actually surprised you dont like Ifeanyi's tooth. It's called gapped tooth, not jacked up. Surprising because I know alot of ladies who love guys with gapped tooth. He has exactly the type Buhari has.

On Sokari, the dude is actually not old. Dude's had a rough life. He was picked from the streets and he walked straight into Enyimba's first team. He's a street guy. He's definitely in the age bracket.

Mustapha is always snapping and shooting videos of everything he does in Camp.lol
