The same Lamido that cannot stay in Nigeria to hand-over to the incoming APC government in his state?

The same loud mouth who deceived everyone he was running against Jonathan, instigated the G5 governors and ran back to GEJ because of his looted Billions and the case against his son?

I used to think him a principled and and patriotic leader, but he is an opportunist illiterate who, fortunately, has faded out of our national consciousness.smiley

This man that put his state in debt should shut his miserable mouth up. Why didn't he pressure Jonathan to do the same?

I didn't vote for Buhari but I keep praying he would succeed
It would be unfair for anybody to expect him to perform wonders within one year.

The man should just take his time and do these things one after another.

I he wants to do it all at once, then we will soon have another acting president.

God will help you succeed, sir. New Dawn.

Lamido how many of yours did you fulfil? But seriously Buhari made so so many promises that I had to wonder how any person will sanely believe him. Nigerians really bought into the propaganda of Jonathan's hatred.

Talk is cheap but GMB will understand talk aint cheap afterall
EUROBOMBER:
Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa state has tacitly attacked President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari for his utterance earlier in the month when governors under the All Progressives Congress (APC) paid him a congratulatory visit.

It would be recalled that Buhari while addressing news men, said he does not know how to tell Nigerians that he will not be able to turn the economy around quickly as promised.

“The expectation is too high and I have started nervously to explain to people that Rome was not built in a day. For this to be corrected, please, give the incoming government a chance”, Buhari said.

This however didn’t go down well with Governor Lamido as he has warned the incoming administration against giving excuses for not implementing its campaign promises, Daily Post.

According to Governor Lamido, Nigerians would not tolerate any failure on its part as soon as it assumes office on May 29.

Speaking while performing his last public function in Dutse, the state capital, where he commissioned the N302 million Jigawa State Independent National Electoral Commission, (JSIEC) office, Lamido said Nigerians were impatiently waiting for the next government to execute its campaign promises.

According to him: “We heard them asking Nigerians for patience on their inability to implement their electoral promises even before assuming office. They also said that they can’t achieve everything overnight and that everything should be done gradually. Which gradually? Is it now that they know that everything should be gradual?

“As Nigerians too, we are not going anywhere; we will keep tracking the government’s failures as there will be no tolerance and we must shout at them and they must work for Nigerians. Our government turned Nigeria into a new world, Jigawa State in particular, but because of selfish interests, they kept sabotaging, blackmailing and intimidating our government”

Politicians, most especially, often forget that Nigerians are not dummies. They foolishly promise heaven and earth, giving false hope, just to get to power. I do pray Buhari has not hurt himself by over-promising the people. Can we expectmuch from a leader that can deny his words even before assuming office?

I am of the opinion that Nigeria belong to all of us, we should just ignore their swelling words and work together to make it work.

Is it now that they know that everything should be gradual? - Governor Sule Lamido.

Good question.

One thing I know though is, give Nigerian constant power only and they will willingly forget every other promise you made to them. In fact, they will come out and give excuses for you without you uttering a single word to defend yourself. Buhari trust me, this is one winning secret GEJ failed to see.

I dont know y ppl get jealous about GMB's victory, there is no way PDP will be the only ruling party in Nigeria.

My humble opinion towards GMB's election promises is to probe all the past Govmt officials and recover stolen money and use it for power. and the seize all their refineries the used Nigerian money to build abroad. that all i want him to do.
